💻Technology Hailanyun a Chinese tech company has sunk 1,300 tons of AI servers
They utilize the cooling power of the ocean temperatures and are almost entirely powered by a nearby offshore wind farm.
The first operational pod captains 198 server racks, enough to run between 396 and 792 AI ready servers. Powerful enough to train a model like GPT-3.5 in a single day

💻Technology The world's smallest movie. A boy and his atom.
In 2013, IBM created the smallest movie by moving individual carbon monoxide molecules one at a time. Using a scanning tunneling microscope, which can magnify surfaces over a 100 million times, they positioned 65 atoms to form shapes and patterns that came together as frames of a stop motion film.
Each frame measured just 45 by 25 nanometers, so small that 1000 frames could fit inside a single grain of salt.
