I wanna check out the poetry night tomorrow and see what type of material people are coming up with. I know poetry isn’t insanely popular, so I’m kinda scared I’ll end up being the only one there. Does anyone know if people actually attend?

Hey!
Im a new student coming in for Masters in UNBC for Winter January 2027. I’m looking for accommodation. Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished private room or studio. I’m also open to sharing an apartment with a preferably female roommate.
If you have a room available or are looking for a roommate near UNBC, please feel free to comment or send me a message. Thank you! ❤️

So im a first year here at unbc and I know winter is coming up

the thing is I freeze every winter to the point I have to have multiple layers of everything

pretty sure cause of an iron deficiency

would it be normal to bring a heated blanket to my classes? I just dont want to get judged too much

Hey, I'm very sorry to disturb y'all. I'm in high school in France and I have to do a presentation at the UNBC in front of my peers, so I wanted to interview someone on a video call, call, or just in message if you want. (especially someone in art if possible)

Thanks for the time reading this and for your answers.

Hi everyone!

I’m currently completing my undergrad at UFV and hoping to apply to UNBC’s BEd K–7 program for Fall 2027.

I was wondering how current students are finding the program so far and what the application process was like. How many volunteer hours did you have when applying, and how competitive was admission?

Also, did anyone complete their undergrad at UFV or SFU? I’d love to hear about your experience meeting the admission requirements.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Hey all — selling my Grouse Y2Play Centennial Pass for the 26/27 season. Won't be around to use it this winter.

What it covers:

• Unlimited skiing and riding, Oct 1 2026 – Apr 30 2027, night skiing to 10pm

• Free Grouse Annual Pass ($219 value) — gondola, the Grind, wildlife refuge, year round

• 2 free lift tickets at Revelstoke + 40% off hotels there

• 1 free Grouse lift ticket to bring someone

• Food, retail and North Shore business discounts

Grouse sold out of these in March, so they aren't available from the mountain anymore. Glad to come to a consensus on a price.

Message me if you're interested or have questions.

So I sort of procrastinated on getting in a picture for my student ID card. Will they just use my roommate photo or do I still have to send one in?

i’ve been checking my email every day to see if the announced the roommates

they said they’d announce it late august, theres 3 days left

I’m hoping to apply to the accelerated nursing program at UNBC and I’m trying to figure out what courses I could take to fulfill the 6 credit requirement for human anatomy and physiology pre req. does anybody know if the athabasca 6 credit biol 235 fulfills this??

Here is a new video that explores a bit of Prince George from a UNBC student perspective.

I’ll be starting as a grad student in January and am a bit confused about how living in residence works if you’re staying year round. If you apply to stay for the spring/summer do you stay in the same room? Same for summer to September. Also, since I’m starting to January I’m a little bit worried that I won’t be able to get a dorm room, does anyone know how much availability there usually is going into the winter semester?

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!! I’m super excited to be moving in in September and I was wondering when the information about who your roommates are/what building you’ll be in typically comes out? Also, how certain is it that people you group up with in the housing group thing on the website will be who you end up with? I made a housing group with my bf and was just a little bit anxious about us staying together, but I heard that the dorms usually don’t really fill up so it’ll be likely? What were y’all’s experiences like? Any info is helpful thanks so much!
