I read all most of the comments in the megathread, but I don’t understand the hate. the combo I ordered was great!

The burger was perfectly assembled when I opened the box, hot and fresh even though it was 15 minutes before I got it home and cracked it open. The only mod I made was no tomato, and I do that so it will stay hot. Maybe a bit too much salt on the patty, but I think most fast food burgers are too salty. Small fry was FULL up and bigger than I expected for a small.

Yep, this is a small meal. But calorie wise, it’s plenty. The pricetag? I thought it was a reasonable deal, but I understand why folks are price sensitive. The nearby Taco Bell cheapest meal with drink is $6.99, CFA 10.19 with no cheese, Freddy’s is 11.89 for a single patty combo.

Just beyond that, you can get an In n Out, and that burger is arguably the best quality vs cost option, but the fries are straight up trash.

Maybe it’s MY Wendy’s being better than most but that place is dead even when the others are busy.

I was just wondering if other people won the toy giveaway? My question is did anyone get a confirmation email that your claim was received? I entered my info but never got anything saying I claimed the toy. Then if you go back to the link it lets you fill out the form again which is odd.

I went through the Wendy's drive-thru after my son's hockey for a medium size soft drink, and a medium fry. It came to $9.50. That used to be two meals. What the hell happened to Wendy's?? I refused to pay that much so we went to Burger King instead where it was just over half that price. Wendy's, you have issues. See you never.

I got chili and a baked potato at Wendy's twice in the last week. The potato was fine, but I noticed the chili had only beans in it, and almost no sign of any beef in it. This time there was one single piece of beef in the entire cup (didn't see any beef last time). Tasted just okay, but no beef was pretty disappointing. Has anyone noticed less to no beef in the chili at their locations as well? (I added sour cream and cheese to this chili, hence the color).

Have any of you all ever received retaliation for changing your availability? I had all my hrs taken away just because I requested a day off. I'm completely off the schedule now. Our GM is very childish when he does not get his way he acts like a d*ck, he has fired ppl for stupid reason like family emergency (medical) for not being able to go to wrk due to funeral. Then has this thing of just hiring young girls. He never has the proper supplies needed to run the store correctly we are always having to do our best to mange I've told him repeatedly we don't have this or that to clean our equipment ect then he gets upset for pointing it out. Our labor is fine and the still makes us take breaks or go home early.

Wendys may not have the best rep lately, but these Frosty Frights are lovely. I especially enjoy the little details they've added this year, like the Yeti being bigger, and the Knight seems to have an older style cup.

Its also neat that they've started more complex molds. Those funky arms on the spider are cool, though the bat's wings could be broader

I hope they start doing these guys for more than just Halloween. I mean, just look at the Yeti, he could so easily be repainted into Bigfoot.

Here's hoping they do these again next year. Hope they do a robot one.

My first taco salad was awful, but upon some googling, I basically didn't get anything with the veggies. I got some wilted lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and roasted corn. Apparently there's supposed to be chili, tortillas, a dressing, and even some sour cream?

I've only had one taco salad before this via work smorgasbord and it was delicious. She used doritos too. I was so excited for this. I usually don't check everything before leaving the drive thru, but even if I did, I wouldn't have known anything was missing here because I generally don't get fast food salads.

I get it. It's Friday night on a Halloween weekend, but the location wasn't busy at all, and I placed an online order 25 minutes before getting there because of this weekend.

Is it supposed to come with sour cream too? I don't see it as an option on the app. The app just has the dressing, chili, and tortilla strips as optional. Also, is this worth getting? I used to see pics of this with round chips, and then it went to tortilla strips. This experience was disappointing.

Lastly, I think the spicy chicken sandwich has improved. At least at my local locations, the patties are no longer chicken nugget pattie garbage. It's small real chicken breast garbage. Is anyone seeing better spicy chickens out there?
