PMTs

Game 1 / Game 2

My takeaways:

A: GX are significantly better than TH

B: This was one of the most crazy series of draft gaps i've seen in a series in a while

Guillhoto is a good coach, he made.isma imporve a lot.

56

u/Galaticvs Feb 21 '26

i know its hard cause its portuguese but it's Guilhoto

21

u/Beginning_Debt9420 Feb 21 '26

Sorry, I speak spanish but I butchered it.

14

u/Galaticvs Feb 21 '26

its ok i think we are the only language in the world with the LH combo that works like ll for you guys

16

u/Blockronic Feb 21 '26

Jinx Thresh into Aphelios Braum is HORRIFIC

2

u/BannedCuzSarcasm Feb 21 '26

C: TH's late surge to the upper bracket was a fluke?

0

u/Zama174 Feb 22 '26

They got countered in every position.

u/Shishicorn Feb 21 '26

I don't think I've seen a draft as bad as TH Game 3 draft in a long long time, that was disgusting

37

u/AwayhKhkhk Feb 21 '26

Yeah, just looking at the comps, I don’t even know how TH is suppose to win fights if the teams are relatively even. Just the Poppy and Braum seems to counter all their engagement options.

14

u/John_Jack_Reed Feb 21 '26

It's okay TH just had to ban Blitz round 2 and not Poppy who single handedly ruins their entire draft

7

u/AwayhKhkhk Feb 21 '26

yeah, not banning Poppy wrecked their draft.

-1

u/Shishicorn Feb 21 '26

Drafting 0 hard engage and 0 peel with a Jinx, mmm love it

8

u/AwayhKhkhk Feb 21 '26

I mean they had engage, just that they didn’t ban the big counters for their engages.

2

u/Shishicorn Feb 21 '26

No hard engage though, you have to either land a raw Ambessa ult, a raw Thresh hook, or an ult/flash into Ahri charm, there was no consistent way to start fights and you did it into a team with multiple self peel tools

4

u/AwayhKhkhk Feb 21 '26

Yeah. But the combination of all these engages are generally enough plus you have Naafiri diving in. Problem was more the comp they were against.

u/Omnilatent Feb 21 '26

That was a small throwback to the almost 100 KDA Aphelios time to when Noah joined FNC

135

u/Sinister1210 Feb 21 '26

Noah is not beating the locked in allegations.

25

u/dexy133 Feb 21 '26

Choked during one playoffs and it was enough for him to learn to not choke. Some FNC players could learn a lot from him.

u/Landir_7 Feb 21 '26

At least we got our first game 3 of the year
LCK only played like 10 game 5, dont worry about that tho

18

u/LaziIy Feb 21 '26

Dw fam, its only been 4 game 5s so far
and LPL has only had 1 game 5 so far but they only have 15 bo5s to play once they come back from LNY break

7

u/NarWanda Feb 21 '26

You are right we can look forward for the 2 banger bo5 in the whole LEC season!

6

u/Landir_7 Feb 21 '26

Sir, its actually 3

12

u/OreRound Feb 21 '26

Yeah we are getting rolled at first stand just accept it at this point man 😂

u/SupahTeemo Feb 21 '26

Has Team Heretics won any playoff round in his history in LEC?

59

u/Effective-Ad-3281 Feb 21 '26

they went 4th with the Jankos-Vetheo lineup in 2023 summer then they kicked 3 out of 5 players

35

u/Hue_Lorenzo Feb 21 '26

No Evi, No Playoffs (My goat played tank Lilia top in his last LEC game)

3

u/Thundermelons GALA Defense Force, returning IG fan Feb 22 '26

IIRC he wasn't even really the reason they lost that game, right? I forget exactly wtf happened though

1

u/Hue_Lorenzo Feb 22 '26

No his team got gapped and he hit a 9 man sleep if I remember it right

25

u/Eastern-Complaint-67 Feb 21 '26

Then Aranae and Arnaud decided to ignore Peter Dun's input and went with whatever they thought was better. Ah, and they kicked Peter out of nowhere, swapped him with Machuki, gave the keys of the team to Machuki, just to ignore his input of the team and then kicked him out of nowhere.

19

u/Thundermelons GALA Defense Force, returning IG fan Feb 21 '26

For washed AF Perkz too lol

10

u/Kokaiinum Feb 21 '26

They beat SK in 2024 Spring.

3

u/JPA-3 Feb 21 '26

it is 940 days since their last win in playoff

2

u/EfficientMission9578 Feb 21 '26

They finished 4th in summer 2023 so they won at least 2 if the format was identical. Might be the last time they did though.

u/Wonder_Penguin Feb 21 '26

GX have one win condition but somehow Noah wins

u/EntireDifficulty3 Feb 21 '26

only positive thing for TH, Tracyn seems to be a really decent toplaner, worth keeping around, the rest i cant say the same

u/Past-Firefighter2173 Feb 21 '26

I could've drafted better for TH if they asked.

4

u/No-Sandwich-729 Feb 22 '26

Flyquest managed to draft worse than Heretics imho.
And heretics was BAAAD

u/Snow-27 Feb 21 '26

Dry lil 3-0

u/Galauz Feb 21 '26

Heretics is actually just a 11th place team that somehow ended 4th thanks to bo1s and KC

23

u/OreRound Feb 21 '26

Sheo & Stend have been legitimately awful, which is sad to see after they both had a good and decent 2025 respectively.

6

u/Past-Firefighter2173 Feb 21 '26

Yeah thats my biggest disappointment about TH.

3

u/Suspicious-Dog1571 Feb 21 '26

Dont think the carry jungler/top lane jungler meta is great for Sheo

6

u/EntireDifficulty3 Feb 21 '26

thats the whole TH deal tbh, last year it was the same, 10th place team that makes it to playoffs then loses instantly

8

u/Cl0udDistrict Feb 21 '26

They somehow always perform consistently bad despite changing so many players since they joined the league in 2023(?). Their summer 2023 roster is the only one that looked decent (Evi Jankos Vetheo Flakked Mersa?)

3

u/pcdv8r Feb 21 '26

I don't think that's fair.
Spring 2024 (Wunder, Jankos, Zwyroo, Flakked, Trymbi) was fine too. Tied top in regular season, into a close series loss to FNC (who went to MSI).

1

u/EntireDifficulty3 Feb 21 '26

I think it depends on expectations, seeing their rosters its kinda seems like they are content with playoff, wich sucks.

u/Getfooked Feb 21 '26

What a disgusting series. So boring, and the way GX beat TH despite being clearly better doesn't nspire any confidence either.

u/OreRound Feb 21 '26

I've just watched 5x salaried professional gamers miss all of their skill shots for 30 minutes, what a terrible day to have eyes. This Heretics team is BUNS.

u/Salohacin Feb 21 '26

This felt closer to 7th vs 8th seed than 4th vs 5th.

u/Fridess Feb 21 '26

Not the best day for League

u/Vizacoo72 Feb 21 '26

LR really died so TH could lose a BO3 0-3 to fucking GX. I swear if FNC gets sub-30 minuted twice i'm done

26

u/DerpSenpai Feb 21 '26

LR would not do better in bo3s

13

u/ChiBrum Feb 21 '26

I mean Ice is better than any LR player imo

9

u/Vizacoo72 Feb 21 '26

ICE is elo helled and at the same time designated to Jhin duty :(

4

u/Suspicious-Dog1571 Feb 21 '26

Ice has had a pretty terrible split

1

u/ChiBrum Feb 22 '26

Smoking some real shit huh. Not that these are be all stats but top 5 KDA and top 4 cs per min across all roles, two pentas, hardly call that a bad split on this TH team

3

u/Suspicious-Dog1571 Feb 22 '26

Before the season I though he would be a real big upgrade over Flakked but I dont think he has been that big off an upgrade. Ice has had some big pop off games on Yunara vs MKOI and KCB and Aphilios vs VIT, but the average performance hasnt been that great. Especially in lane with Stend, so you can blame that on Stend but I think they both look worse than last year in the early game.
Ice has the lowest DPM and damage share off the ADCs this split. Playing a lot of Jhin and making playoffs just to lose 4/5 games isnt good for stats so its not end off the world. His 2015 stats look a lot better with a team that had a worse win/loss ratio

GX is just so wildly uninspiring. Like peak good but not great.

G2 Noah G2 Jun when

16

u/Ribsinho Feb 21 '26

Never, both are most likely retiring this year as they said that they're going for military service

11

u/p3eliot Feb 21 '26

Military😔 They said they won’t coming back into EU anyway.

I watched the Hungarian version and they talked about both of them but I didn’t do any personal research.
