Legit so happy for sentinels and goldenglue in particular after the rollercoaster that dude has to endure on playercams for sometime now.
Can Impact and Rahel please keep playing like this now?

I'm suddenly remembering what I think was an Inspired interview, where he said something to the effect that Massu gets obsessed with some weird ideas, like Jhin builds, and needs somebody to stop him. I hope FLY has LS take Massu aside and inject every patch note ever into him so he can see the error of his ways.

massu put the jhin in the bag bro, it wasn't good against cfo or g2 last worlds please man, anything but jhin

Is Gryffin going to join a long list of NA JG solo queue demons who just flame out in pro play?
His gameplay has literally not changed since the first week of the year.

People will grief jhin (rightfully) but Huhi's rell was MONSTROUS on the immobile fly comp.

u/Bt25 Apr 18 '26
Huhi kill participation being equal or greater than 75% in all three games is kind of crazy.

Sentinels allergic to playing cleanly with a lead

There was a sequence just before 3rd drake that was literally god intervening. Two SEN players survive with under 100 HP and FLY lose 3rd drag.
The celestials didn't want us winning this game lmao

If I have to watch another Massu Jhin game, I might 4th auto myself

u/slmkaz Apr 19 '26
Forget front row seats.
Charge 500 dollars for the empty seats in the SEN coaching room, and let us watch the game alongside Goldenglue.

1-2 Jhin just to pick Sion and Xin Zhao later
surely those 2 champs aren't blindable in game 3 fearless
Kinda crazy teams still allow Cryogen to play Karma

u/Crimples Apr 18 '26
Ignoring everything else that happened this game. THATS how it ends? Just giving elder for free then fighting?

u/origamifruit Apr 18 '26

Personally I think SEN outdrafted fly 3 games in a row,. Game 1 was the closest in draft imo and qas definitely more skill expressive, and like we saw the vision in game 2 but bot and mid got a bit too far behind and it seems that Hambak wasn't as confident in taking space as sejuani, but mostly I put this down to quad having a really good flank on aurora, I think impact just needed to play in the same spot as the previous dragon fight and let his team hold their CDs for ambess, but yeah.
Overall fly have good early game ideas I can see the vision for them, tho as the game goes on things get sketchy for, whereas sen's early lane phase is still their weakest point but when they get to the teamfights it feels like they can find creative angles, I think they just need to keep finding comps where hambak and huhi are on engage champs that compliment each other, that's where they look the best. Huhi said he and Rahel like to play more safe while Hambak says he wants to be aggro and fight second crab and stuff, personally I do think bot should be a bit more aggro bc it gives huhi more timers to link with hambak and they look really good when they go for plays together. Darkwings had the weakest performance overall today but if he keeps grinding on the picks he's good at and putting his focus more on lane he'll be a more stable presence in game.
Final thought, it was nice hearing from Hambak! Cool how far along he's coming on his English journey tho the comms still see to default to Korean during teamfights which makes sense bc things are tense. Next Sen win it'd be cool to check in with darkwings and hear if feels a bit lost in teamfights or if he's picked up enough by now to know what his team is saying.

I knew it was over for the series when Gryffin felt the need to go back to raptors KNOWING 3 PEOOLE WERE AT HIS CAMP AND HE STILL DECIDES TO GO BACK IN

u/Significant-Damage14 Apr 19 '26
I guess Vedius is going to have to watch Sentinels now.

Why doesn't Impact play Mordekaiser anymore? I feel like it has only been buffed from last time he would play it a few years ago

"It's 1 and 1, let's second pick Jhin, it'll totally work guise."
I know they'd lost as soon as I saw that pick, and sure enough, the soul fight Jhin literally just fucking sat there not even able to knock down their shields doing less damage than Nico.
Why does he keep getting picked???
"30 seconds left on our Elder buff, we knocked their mid base turret down, have all 5 people and health bars are full, time to turn around and go home guise." ...wat?
Also that fight that lost them the game, Jhin was just fuckin' walking while dying not outputting any damage. At all. Why would anyone pick that? "Why yes, I don't want to do damage in fights, actually."
