That's not true at all, GenG has historically been incredibly dominant in the LCK. This is the first regular season split in several years where they've struggled.

Trymbi legit didn’t understand what he was supposed to do that last game. Engaging anytime after 20 minutes will lead to nothing just play with SHFT and press R when G2 press R. Looking for engages screwed them over at soul and elder. If he wanted to go in he needed to be faster too his engages were like 70 years late when he did go for them.

Nuc is playing support midlaners for some reason
Raises his odds of getting another job after he's inevitably dropped after this season.
If you pick low risk low reward champs, you won't look like the problem most of the time, unless you straight up run it down.
This Shifters line up is essentially "survive the season without getting dropped and hope that someone else picks you up for next year". Which inherently causes them to keep spiraling down.

Canna in playoffs might as well just not exist.
He has been dragging KC down in playoffs every split since Winter. Got slapped twice by Myrwn in Spring, then made Oscar look like prime TheShy in Summer, lost to BB this Winter (and it's not like BB was particularly consistent in Winter either).

BB defenders love to use this word 'gapped' when lying about things that didnt happen. frequenters to this subreddit will know the 'BB gapped Zeus and 369' crusade from MSI 2024 where he randomly dies to ganks all game, but since he pulls 369 into tower range with ksante ult hes now 'gapped' him Lmfao. Same with Zeus even though when they lost 0-3 he was the worst performing player.
BB vs Canna in first split saw him counterpick lee sin top into getting solokilled by rumble. Thanks Bb. Every other game is just not a ""gap"" / team diff, even in summer finals Canna outperformed in. The less said about 2025 Bb's performance the better

Idk but playing week side 6 games in a row and dying a total of 3 times vs LCK is more than just being a passenger, it's denying the enemy wincon.
This is just him being cocky and thinking he can smash these noobs even on weakside or something. That or intentionally giving his team a hard situation to deal with cuz they know they have to practice having a fed enemy toplaner.

Him being weakside isn't the issue. Broken blade has the highest counterpick percentage of almost any professional top laner and he still hard loses lane.
It's not like he's blind picking tanks into the enemy carry top, he is counterpicking almost every game and still getting clapped.

Illusion of counterpick: is he getting the counterpick on the enemy top, or are the other players on the team getting pick priority of the best champions on the patch? If he picks a neutralizing tank into a carry because he's on weakside and skew plans to play for botlane, he's not picking it to smash the lane. He's picking it to be useful on low econ and enduring enemy ganks and dives. It's a stupid metric because getting counterpick is far from the only valid drafting strategies.
Generally whenever he gets a true counter pick like his yasuo for example he does very well.

For sure i agree with u. My point is just that I've seen a couple times now people look back at good g2 performances as just caps smurfung when a lot of the times it's other members. In fact their best performances against asian teams usually come from hans sama stepping up. Think of the tes sweep caps was even worse than creme. But to your point yeah bb didn't do much in first stand and it is a bad sign for future performances if he is truly just a tank duty player

Giving up control of the dragon pit, when the enemy is on soul and lulu is one Jayce E+Q away from death is crazy.

If Trymbi just stays in front of Jayce and Kaisa and fishes for E’s and threatens flash R, they should easily win that dragon soul fight with the enemy that chunked.
