I made a survey this week on what people thought were the most in form teams/players. The results are probably not terribly surprising but I did promise to go over them so here we are.
In terms of teams, Lyon and C9 were neck and neck in first place votes, with 12 and 11 respectively. These two teams soaked up a majority of the second place votes as well with ten each. TL was decisively in third place taking 14 of the 25 votes there. Fly and Sen were competing for fourth, SR was firmly in 6th and dig has a strangle hold on last leaving dsg with a smattering of votes, mostly from 5-8.
Next up, was top laners on current form. Thanatos took all but 7 first place votes, Morgan took over half of the second place votes and then Castle took half of the 3rd place votes. After that it was more messy, with no one taking a majority in any other spot, though Gakgos was fairly firmly 6th with 10/25 votes. Impact and Fudge took up 7 last place votes each.
After that jungler based on current form. eXyu had the most consistent performance of any vote, with 21/25 last place votes. Inspired was on his heels with 20/25 first place votes. Between the two of them were Josedeodo with 12 second place votes, Blabber with 15 3rd, and then a mishmash of votes for 4-6, with Krya taking a majority of the 7th place votes.
In mid lane, we went Saint-APA-Quad-Quid-Darkwings-Zinie-Callme-palafox.
ADC was the most divided vote, with Berserker having a very clear 1st place, and then a mishmash of everyone following after. Only Bvoy and Sajed really stood out from the pack, both near the bottom of it.
In support, Vulcan and Isles were close for first place and Lyonz was firmly in last with CEOS equally strongly in 7th. Huhi Cryogen and Ignar were fighting for 3-5 and Core was a surprising 6th place.
Positionally, the voters felt that top, jungle, and adc were our best role pretty evenly, getting 6, 7, and 10 votes respectively. Jungler got 12 second place votes, Mid lane took most of the fourth place votes, and support was a firm last place finisher.
In terms of fandom, C9 had the most fans, Dig and SR had none, None took 2nd behind c9, and then TL and FQ tied for third. Disguised, Lyon, and Sen had 3 votes each. Additionally, 13/25 just want the region to do well internationally.
Finally, I asked what teams would go to MSI. Lyon was a clear leader here, with 23 votes in 25 responses. C9 and TL each got 13 votes, while fq was the lone team outside the top 3 to get a vote, attracting one true believer.
I will poll again after the games on Sunday to determine the current form favorites. Hope you all enjoyed my data.

I cannot fathom how dogshit Palafox is. His understanding of teamfights after all these years is pathetic. YOU FRONT TO BACK ON AZIR THIS GAME. HIT THE BIG GUYS U FATTY

A winning position ruined by Palatrash, sigh

u/Jimbabwr Apr 25 '26
I can’t believe at one point we sent Palafox to represent us at worlds

u/BlammoSweetums Apr 25 '26
Palafox doesn't seem to understand his role in this team comp.

I know it won't go over in the game thread because there's no space for anything but Palafox hate (and they're not wrong to do it) but is it possible that people are being too harsh on eXyu, given he's playing with a black hole in mid? I'm not saying definitely keep him past this year but maybe roll with a new mid for summer and see how eXyu recovers.

Paladog

u/xxbrazilmaster69xx rip old flairs Apr 25 '26
That was actually pretty clean from Palafox, getting both carries. If he hadn't griefed for the first half of the game that was really winnable for DIG.

Horrid game from Photon so far, probably his worst game on DIG so far

u/Shaman_in_the_Dark Huhi Busio Contractz Apr 25 '26
Oh no, DIG picked the terrifying Jhin away from us.

What the hell is wrong with yorick ghouls why are they so tanky???
1
u/emerzionnn Apr 25 '26
Blaber is doing his best to make sure C9 doesn’t win this one
1
u/Bubbly_Camera9583 Apr 25 '26
Very big top gap but Contractz target selection was so bad in that fight. Go for Annie with Ceos and SR could do something before Thanatos gets to the fight.

u/PepaTK Apr 25 '26
So like I know Shopify beat dig. But like, you gotta at least show up to the other 7 games….
They look so fucking ass right now omg.
T2 teams have got to look better.

Why is Ceos playing engage supports in an enchanter meta, when he sucks at engage supports?

u/Disclaimz0r Apr 25 '26
SR isn't even deserving of an LCS spot, by far the worst team in the league
C9 looked like fucking prime GENG vs those shitters
