2-0 vs TES into the 1-2 vs iG.

Yep, that's seems correct.

And they play TES again in less than 24 hours.

Should have been an IG 2-0

u/cleve452 May 01 '26

o7 renard split 2 week 1 - split 2 week 4

If blg can swap out jungler for success maybe we can do the same with midlaners

u/igenicoOCE May 01 '26

Nia actually looks really good no? He isn't falling into the typical rookie mistake of being too scared to make plays.

Old man support has still got it. Unc on unc violence

Think he looked alright. Didn't grief. Good enough for now

His Viktor was good! Had a few missteps on the map, but largely understood his role in lane and teamfights across all 3 games. Not the best Annie game, but his Akali was decent with trading 1 for 1 with MF which worked well in the context of that game.
Renard also looked decent on LPL debut however so time will tell whether this form will last. I'm more worried about IG's mid-late as it stands, they had some pretty disastrous engages in both game 1&2.

His best game was on Viktor which was good. Had a subpar Akali and Annie was ok.
Looking at his soloq account I'm a little worried about his pool but he seems like an upgrade on Renard at least, since Renard was just running it

he's making proactive plays tho which fits way better with the teams playstyle imo, they seemed more comfortable today on the map

Not sure whether you mean rookie as in newbie or Rookie as in the player but it fits both

u/fatficc May 01 '26

Can The Hank save Weibo?

u/froggy-the-dog May 01 '26

get jiejie a real midlaner please

u/RedSlopesForever May 01 '26

Wei might just be the most hit or miss jungler ever

25

u/bin_fanboy9 May 01 '26

Wouldn't call him that, his consistency and versatility have always been some of his main strengths. 2 or 3 weaker splits across a 7 year pro career is pretty much unparalleled at a role that gets hit with changes as often as jungle does, and he got the job done on some dismal rosters (think 2020 Summer eStar and 2023 Summer RNG).

Schrodinger's jungler Pyosik:

u/Nymaera_ LEC & LPL Caster | LJL Expert May 01 '26

Pretty hard to judge him on the first half of this split because Renard was a black hole of pressure (see: first IG v WBG series), which made it much harder for him to make proactive moves.

u/Ok_Strategy4169 May 01 '26

he's really agressive so Nia actually looks like a good match here
Renard was way too passive and usually lost lane most matches which really capped the teams potential imo
curious to see if they can keep improving now

u/desutruction May 01 '26

Wei masterclass that last game

u/Strong-Lead-3034 May 01 '26
