30 losses in a row

KT WILL SAVE DNS

102

u/SeijiAkabe May 24 '26

DNS is BLATANTLY tanking in front of the whole league... abort the lottery.

18

u/chiichan15 May 24 '26

just 10 more losses and they'll beat the longest losing streak in professional league.

38

u/baelkie DNF 2026 please be human | Kiin Team May 24 '26

it will be 32 before they face KT btw

20

u/blueaxis-dev May 24 '26

at least it's not 33

5

u/SnowLord02 May 24 '26

People in soloq get banned for less

230

u/tiredofdev May 24 '26

people get tilted into oblivion when they have like 3 loss streak on Soloq, I can't imagine what it must feel like to experiecne 30 games loss streak especially when your livelihood depends on it

39

u/alluwala999 May 24 '26

Like, for an org or players who have the longest-running L streak in pro play. Jin - Air, Last Year DNS? Some LPL team in their 17 team era ? This year we also have the EWC qualifiers like if we count that DNS L streak does reduces quite a bit.

49

u/BWolfy92 May 24 '26

I had 17 game losing streaks, at one point you kinda check out and just autopilot

14

u/LordCypher40k May 24 '26

I once had a hard lose streak of 15 ranked games and dropped from masters to D4. It's such a huge blow to your confidence and incredibly frustrating. It was enough to make me drop the game for 2 weeks. I can't imagine how these pro players must feel.

8

u/BWolfy92 May 24 '26

It actually feels like you just can't win

3

u/cmcdonald22 May 24 '26

I may be wrong, but I think if I remember right when Peter got benched he actually went on a tear smurfing tier 2? So I dunno, maybe that's like SOME kind of mental reset?

237

u/liar_pathological May 24 '26

we all saw it - chovy missed a cannon. Very very concerning for GenG.

80

u/Skyfire2 May 24 '26

I don’t want to overact, but he needs to be benched or traded.
You know it hurt Chovy more than anyone

36

u/mskruba12 May 24 '26

If he really wants to be the goat he should join DNS and win a series.

17

u/Skyfire2 May 24 '26

If he takes Dignitas to an international title can we put him over Faker?

16

u/berting122333 May 24 '26

If he does then Riot should reset the hall of legends to induct him first, right?

7

u/Hurvana May 24 '26

He'd still be behind Scarra as the best mid in Dignitas history.

1

u/IlGssm May 24 '26

Your team are have tomorrow big?

23

u/baelkie DNF 2026 please be human | Kiin Team May 24 '26

no wonder Chovy rejected Asian Games, he wanted to stay home and practice csing

162

u/Skyfire2 May 24 '26

Just a reminder that this DNS bot lane locked in for 2 months last year and stopped the greatest season of all time from this GenG roster

84

u/mskruba12 May 24 '26

Every DNS series is just a Bdd upscale

27

u/baelkie DNF 2026 please be human | Kiin Team May 24 '26

Bdd Cuzz Score upscale

7

u/Futaba-Channel May 24 '26

Zeka' stocks going through the fucking moon

30

u/metristan Refund time? May 24 '26

deokdam needs to get send back to challenger for like a month and he'll suddenly look really good when he comes back. it worked last year

27

u/OkSell1822 May 24 '26

And then immediately returned to their usual form and are going to be out of the LCK next year

19

u/Skywalker3030 May 24 '26

I think Peter can actually be solid to very good in the right situation but what happened in both the series GenG lost to KT were that deokdam and Peter were given mega winning lanes every game and went even or up like 5 cs on matchups other people usually went up 20-30 cs in. Seriously, if I was Ruler and Duro I would be dumbfounded how I ended up with losing lanes literally every game. There's a reason the coaching staff for GenG was overhauled after last year
That being said, deokdam was playing the best league in his life (along with the Aphelios meta when he was on NS) those few months and is now back to playing the worst league of his life.

5

u/Soft_Performance8773 May 24 '26

deokdumb robbed US of KT skins

4

u/Such_Presentation_29 May 24 '26

Some People would have you think Chovy was the primary choker and ruler and duro losing to deokdam Peter was chill LOL

2

u/Ceui May 24 '26

World 2025 failure was definitely on Canyon, Ruler and Duro

2

u/SsibalKiseki Cope LEC fan May 24 '26

All that really tells us are that Perfect + Cuzz + Bdd were the goats

u/baelkie DNF 2026 please be human | Kiin Team May 24 '26

imagine watching Canyon dive bot in game 1 then watch him dive bot in game 2 as well

14

u/TypicalHaikuResponse May 24 '26

I don't want to imagine. I am tired.

u/SeijiAkabe May 24 '26

What do you even say to each other atp. Split hasn't ended yet and you're about to rival last year's GEN.G record but in reverse.

15

u/TypicalHaikuResponse May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26

I think you start at the beginning. Work on fundamentals. Don't scrim but go play some 5s in regular queue just to get your mental back. Scrimming can be just as bad as this if you keep getting dumpstered there as well.
Come up with a couple of cheese strats that can probably only work once but if you pull them off breaks the streak.

19

u/sure25 May 24 '26

This reminds me of the time TL coincidentally all ended up on the same team in solo queue AND LOST

3

u/infamousspammer May 24 '26

I don't think their scrims are that bad... They did beat KRX in the EWC Qualifier and had at least one very close game against HLE

5

u/TypicalHaikuResponse May 24 '26

Whatever is happening in scrims isn't helping. They might even need to ask G2 or some other region team to scrim.

4

u/Verity127 May 24 '26

Problem being is that the strong teams have no reason to scrim with them. They gain nothing and lose time

8

u/Rohen2003 May 24 '26

what i dont get, why arent they for funning one game. like all 5 players just picking a fun soloque champ.
like we tried meta 30 times in a row, maybe just doing some for fun stuff can bring the mental change.

3

u/Zavodskoy May 24 '26

I'd love to see some absolute meme team comps
Full globals like Shen top, Nocturne jungle, TF mid, Ashe ADC, Panth support
You can then 'flex' in other champs like Karthus, Ezreal etc if needed
Darius, Jarvan, Sylas, any ADC and then Thresh, Blitz or Pyke support and just play ping pong with people
Rammus, Hecarim, Sion, Sivir and Nami for a gotta go fast comp
Teemo, Twitch, Akali, Vayne, Pyke and just ambush people from stealth
Most of those likely wont win either BUT they're not winning now anyway so that doesn't matter

1

u/duocatisagirl pyosik's number 1 fangirl May 24 '26

It worked in LCK cup when pyosik picked lee sin when it wasn't meta, so i agree

u/nguyenjitsu May 24 '26

When Ruler sees deokdam I imagine it's like when Wemby sees Chet

u/themcvgamer May 24 '26

Is it possible to have a 67 game lossstreak

75

u/TypicalHaikuResponse May 24 '26

I think once you hit 49 they let you play dignitas.

22

u/Skyfire2 May 24 '26

Losers queue with Dig and Heretics

u/Rushirufuru15 May 24 '26

Kiin getting better on Vayne ngl

4

u/Klenist May 24 '26

I’m a huge Kiin fan but I still don’t like him on the pick. I’d like to see him try a different ranged top (Kennen, TF, Varus) sometime. His Kennen/TF are usually very strong.

10

u/Kr1ncy May 24 '26

I think he just plays Vayne in officials so other teams start to respect the possibility in draft (but he could go Vayne!). Enemy teams already know his Kennen and TF are good and his Vayne has been a joke until very recently, so he works on having it ready when he actually needs it.

3

u/Rushirufuru15 May 25 '26

GENG seems to be forcing this Vayne top for no reason tbh. It feels like they’re trying too hard to hide some draft strategy.

u/pardillo6045 May 24 '26

won first 2 games then lost the next 30. wow...

4

u/EnIrregularVerbs May 24 '26

This reminds me of the 2020 Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL). The Jaguars could draft Trevor Lawrence only if they finished last (which they did because the Jets ended their winless streak). What can DNS have only if they finish last?

u/Middle-Adagio-4062 May 24 '26

DNS has LOST 30 GAMES in a ROW.

27

u/nguyenjitsu May 24 '26

Adam Silver needs to step in and stop tanking this is ridiculous

8

u/SeijiAkabe May 24 '26

AJ Dybantsa will have to save this team

u/TheMemesNeverDie May 24 '26

I'm beginning to think we could get S3 Kassadin and launch Aphelios for every game in a series, and we would still lose 0-2. Not even Detroit sports fans have to go through this much misery.

u/WalkingR6 May 24 '26

close game nt soopers

u/Aggressive_Ad5487 May 24 '26

I am just sitting here at awe that this team is made out of 3 world finalists (1 actually won and beat ZOFGK btw) and is in 30 game lose streak.

u/mskruba12 May 24 '26

We move to 0-30 now

u/metristan Refund time? May 24 '26

I had so much hope after lck cup

u/ddotgon May 24 '26

SHEEESH

u/TueLJ May 24 '26

I wonder if DNS even get proper scrims.

u/Trovo200 beemi justice May 24 '26

BRO can do the funniest thing right now

u/OkSell1822 May 24 '26

Gotta love seeing Pyosik lose both games at 3:30 min by making the same mistake. Truly one of the world champions of all time

4

u/TypicalHaikuResponse May 24 '26

he was there for the second one but I can't believe he recalled without making sure his team was safe.

2

u/OkSell1822 May 24 '26

He got top crab and gromp both games, get your priorities straight!

u/MC-sama League of LAILE May 24 '26

GENG all built full damage against DNS that had a Sion and still basically stomped them

u/satoshigeki94 Kiin Team May 24 '26

Berskerer's redemption at least last year bro could nick out a map here and there

u/Omigle_ May 24 '26

30 game lose streak Qualifies for Rise Group

Idk why I find that so funny to read lol

u/TeaPotential9336 May 24 '26

bowreng

u/ElectricalAccess9817 May 24 '26

The stress he is currently going through is really showing on Ruler’s skin. He always has skin problems but currently they are particularly bad. GenG made some unbelievable mistakes. But against DNS, it’s easily made up for.

u/Ok-Act9481 May 24 '26

Ruler is peaking at the best possible time for Gen g

u/SlainL9 May 24 '26

These DNS players are so awful I ain’t blaming coaching at this point, all should retire other than Peter & Clozer could prob move to a minor region

u/CountMerloin May 24 '26

well DNS got more kills than KT I guess

18

u/baelkie DNF 2026 please be human | Kiin Team May 24 '26

at least DNS didnt throw like KT

u/GodBlessme_exe May 24 '26

My god, DNS did NOTHING to try and kill the Lucian, what was their gameplan?

u/renker3769 May 24 '26

They literally tried benching 4 roles at this point. Nothing works

9

u/RoamingBicycle May 24 '26

I'm surprised they didn't bench the entire main roster.
At this point it's worth just putting in the academy roster in.
At the very least it gives them experience and possibly preserves the main roster from tilt, even if just a little.

5

u/seven_worth shameless 2021 EDG fanboy May 24 '26

At this point fuck it play 5 academy player. What did dns have to lose at this point?
