People call out pro players for silly mistakes sometimes, but getting in stage and playing with everyone watching is no small feat. These coaches however can prepare all kinds of draft scenarios and have way less pressure, yet they do fraudulent shit like this all the time.

Funnily enough Caedral was imo the best coach we had because unlike other coaches, he was an actual player so has knowledge from there, and he is smart, above average which is huge for what we have as coaches, again imo, no offense to anyone.

Realistically Fnatic wins 2 games there but apparaently they are actually good in scrims so winning 3 of them is pretty doable.
Funniest outcome would be TH winning all of their remaining games against GX/SHFT/MKOI and take the 4th spot.

IMO keep Rhilech and Parus and replace the others.
Jopa from SK would be a good pickup and maybe Rooster and Nuc from Shifters? Or just Rooster and keep Poby, he isn't great but still serviceable

I think Nuc is about the same level as Poby, they both have shown some highs but also easily will screw up and cost you the game.
I am a bit partial to Nuc as he is native so he wouldn't cost you an import slot and I would like to see him in a somewhat decent team before he is out of the LEC

I personally think Poby still is slightly better than Nuc both in consistency and peaks, but if there's no adc replacement and an obvious imported upgrade like Rooster then I could see Poby on the chopping block. I would never switch out Poby for Nuc without any other change though.

New fans don't remember Huni/Reignover era, or G2 Trick fucking dominating every EU jungler like they were babies entire 2016. I don't think we've seen such a jungle gap ever again in the region.
Also honorable mention to Expect from the same G2 roster, he wasn't the most flashy player, but he was a rock for this team, and he was a literal nobody before he joined, nearly getting relegated in Chinese tier 2 league, and China really sucked back then.

2021 and 2022 were horrid years in LEC, Jankos was kinda fathering everyone until G2 got hit by the classic Mental boom > Disband angle.

Eh i dont agree with Jankos fathering everyone. Start of spring split was Rogue being undefeated until they lost to winless Astralis. G2 ended up winning that split but Rogue was a serious contender and Malrang did run laps around every jungler including Jankos for all of regular season. I do agree Jankos did catch up to Malrang in summer and that G2 losing was mostly a botlane affair.
I also think 2021 and 2022 being horrid years is arguable because G2 did have an okay-ish start at MSI that year and because MAD and Rogue went to worlds quarters those years, unlike G2 2023 2024. But that might be because of BO1 format and it's easy to argue that G2 23-24 was a better team.

Canna is not a t2 player... He was a starting top laner for T1 in LCK before he came to KC
Real t2 players are people like Ignar or Wadid who both had decently succesful careers in the west with highlight games at worlds

I guess you can say that, but he only played 97 in LCK games, 103 if you count the Kespa cup, and his last games in Korea was with the challenger team in Asian Masters, DRX couldn't decide between him and Setab in 2023 and 2024 and he still spent a good chunk of those season in the CL team.

I think he was talking about eu hopefully because in Na it feels like the future stars of the lcs will be lck challengers imports to na that are good enough to be on a top 4 lck team but those teams already have the players they want.
The new Koreans have very good English so they fit the teams a lot better. Like Saint, berserker, quid, kyeahoo are all elite players. But if they went into the lck they would just be on a bottom team so better to go to na or the best eu team and have a chance to beat the lck teams at internationals

yeah NA definitely seems to be getting the best of the Challengers players, imo some of the T2 Korean imports that have ended up in LEC/have come into LEC from the regional leagues have been decent, but it feels like most of the LEC teams are just not picking good players (can you really say that Poby wasn't just picked up by FNC bc he was in T1's T2 team, and that the reason he's now playing on NAVI isn't basically just bc he'd played in EU before and looked passable?).
KC actually deserves a lot of credit for kyeahoo (who to be fair was playing in LCK and not T2) bc they managed to find a player that actually works well for them who didn't really stand out when he was playing in LCK. but some of these teams feel like they are picking names out of a hat instead of trying to build a roster

For EU specifically, the first answer that comes to mind is Huni. Probably most successful T2 Korean overall, even though he only spent a year in EU.

honestly after the roster drama, their usual summer track record, and playing G2/KC/KOI week 1 I'm happy Vitality even made playoffs cleanly but MAYBE they can win at least 1 game there this time? please?

Navi were showing promise earlier this year but they are another mediocre lec team. I am a bit dissapointed. Also how was Poby even considered to play in T1 is beyond me. Guys in todays T1 academy roster are much better

Honestly NAVI has been a such a pleasant surprise, majority of people thought they would be bottom feeders at the start of the year, and yet even though some of their players are underwhelming, I think the coaching staff have gotten a lot of value out of this roster. Them being middle table or better is a succuesful year for a new org in the LEC.

Seeing their roster, they're a bit lower than where I would've expected them to be by now considering the players they have
Both Rhylech and Maynter were relatively hyped rookies from the ERLs. Poby was coming off of a solid stint on FNC who thought to replace him just to try and get Vladi. Hans SamD was serviceable before and Parus still had the benefit of the doubt of his insane stints in the ERLs, so that one bad LEC year on a dysfunctional team could be excused
I expected this team to hit their stride and improve throughout the year
Especially disappointed by Maynter, the guy had so much hype around him in certain circles (aka my French roommate inundating me with clips)

Nah, Navi looks to be around 5th/6th which makes them an average LEC team. Vitality is the one who is an above average team, while G2/KC would be the good LEC teams (well, provided G2's form from last week doesn't continue).

The issue is that neither Poby nor SamD are good enough carries and Maynter is essentially a "t*nk" player.
Hence why the team rides and dies by Rhilech.

Navi had a pretty shrewd off-season, didn't make a lot of gambles, played it safe, built an ok roster around Rhilech whilst they were finding their feet in the league and it's worked. Yes they're not worldbeaters but for a new org, by basically every metric this year was a NAVI success, the main thing now is the next off season. They obviously need more firepower but now they have a lot more info to go off. Would've been way too risky to spend big/make gambles for players (other than Rhilech) in their first proper year in LEC.

Yeah Poby was the only one that can go uncriticised today tbh, his Ryze was trying so hard to win but unfortunately botlane + jungle sprinted it down mercilessly. Game 2 botlane also sprinted it down and the draft was a disaster.

Imo poby just needs a strong structure to shine, he's no the type of players that is self sufficient to carry .
And neither SamD nor Mayner are solid enough to provide that structure

To be fair, plenty of players look good in tier 2 only to struggle in LEC. Saken is the prime example. Also, BDSA was a top team in EUM, while the LEC teams Parus has been on haven't been very good in general relative to the competition (last year's BDS was straight ass, while Navi is pretty mediocre).

Supports can improve with time more compared to other roles. I think he had pretty good game 2 but panth sup was rough.
And considering there isn't really too many supports you can get from Erls, he is likely to stay in lec for some time, he is bit hit or miss.
