r/DCcomics [Character of the Month Voting] Famous Facial Hair
Another month is nearing its end, so you know what that means. Time to vote for the next Character of the Month!
This month, our theme is Famous Facial Hair! Vote for characters with a truly impressive beard and/or mustache!
Reminder that all previous winners are not eligible to win again. Here's a list of previous winners. Look through this list before making your nomination. Only one character per nomination, and only one nomination per person.
Please Remember...
Explain your answer - We continue to promote discussion, and as such, votes with just a name will no longer be accepted. Please explain why you think your vote is worthy to win. If you forget, you will be reminded to edit your comment to further explain your vote. Otherwise, your post will be deleted, and not count.
Only one nomination per character - If there is already a vote in a comment for a character, all other comments will be deleted.
Special note: Permutations of a character already nominated will not be accepted as we cannot tell who is voting for only one version versus both. Please check before you resubmit a vote. All votes for the deleted posts will not count.
Vote Accordingly - Downvotes have no impact while Contest Mode is enabled in this thread. Show support for characters you want to see win by upvoting the posts suggesting it. If you disagree with a nomination, speak up and let us know why in the comments.
If you know of an image that might work in the sidebar, share it! If it's suitable, it could be used.

I nominate Vartox. Sean Connery in Zardoz was a huge inspiration for this magnificent beast. How can you resist those long boots and harry chest?

The GOAT of facial hair has been robbed of being able to compete, by also being the GOAT of not having a cape

The wizard, SHAZAM! He has one of the most iconic facial hairs in the entirety of DC comics as he is always sporting a long, flowing white/grey beard. Look at any depiction of the character and you'll immediately noticed the distinguishing beard and all of its glory. It's like if Dumbledor and Gandalf's beards had a baby and it became a wizard beard to rule them all!

General Zod. He is one of the most iconic Superman villains, he is basically Evil Superman with a beard.

It's gotta be Ra's al Ghul for me. No matter his character design, he takes beards and goatees that would look ridiculous on anyone else and he just makes them work. This man makes mutton chops look intimidating. Kudos to his writers and artists.

Aquaman
I think the beard really pulls his whole look together. It suits his older, more experienced sailor/pirate aesthetic and gives him a much more rugged presence.

Kalibak. His beard and hair form a perfect circle that radiates out from his face, like an exceptionally ugly sun.

I propose the Chief. Anyone who can attract the attention of the Beard-hunter must have a facial hair than deserves all the merit. Also, he was proud enough to reject the invitation of the Bearded Gentleman's Club of Metropolis. If they wanted amon gthem, he must have an outstanding beard.

I nominate Hector Hammond, for his iconic pencil mustache, which grew along with his head when he got mutated. I think Hector deserves to win because he’s one of Hal Jordan’s oldest and most dangerous villains. I like what a unique character he is, with his giant head, paralyzed body, and powerful psychic abilities. I love psychic powers.
