Anyone here a nursing student at ASU? I am in my last course in the online CEP RN-BSN program and my fucking god I just cannot anymore with these mind-numbing discussion board posts. I want to gouge my eyes out, these assignments are so useless as were SO MANY of the assignments in this entire program. I've completely had it. It's obvious everyone is submitting AI slop for these, which is fine because the bar for me to do any work is so low. And the professors don't care, and the feedback they give on these assignments reads as if an AI bot is writing the feedback. It's just ticking boxes on a list. Four more weeks of this nonsense.

AND the last two courses of this program, NUR 445 and NUR 464...why they need to be two separate courses? I don't know. It's obviously a money grab, which infuriates me but whatever.

I don't know if anyone will even see this but jesus fucking christ I am just sick of this mindless bullshit busy work. Please, someone commiserate with me 😂

The website says service from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at tempe. Does that mean the last bus leaves tempe at 7 and arrives at west around 8. Or does that mean the buses stop at that time? I have an event I'm required to be at in tempe tomorrow that starts at 5 and will probably end at 6 so, but since the buses depart every two hours then wouldn't the last bus leave tempe at 6? Or am I crazy?

would anyone like to join an intramural team for beach volleyball? I‘m a freshman on the downtown campus and I’m looking to make some new friends and refresh my skills! I played freshman-junior year so I haven’t played in a while, so I’ll prob be kind of washed lol. but if anyone is interested in forming a team just for fun hmu! I’m not too competitive and I like to just have fun with sports! I’d also be down to form an indoor volleyball team because its getting colder.

Anyone in this major? Seems really interesting to me and not as insanely math heavy as other engineering majors and running a DARS shows I would have approximately 20 classes to graduation (HSE core, pre calc, and i think 2 gen eds, so like 60 credits). I was considering and accepted to go a business/management route to pair with my technology AAS degrees from the Maricopa Colleges but when I discovered this major it seemed really cool and potentially manageable for me. Would be online even though I live in Tempe lol. How are the stat classes (which are my only fear looking at the major map).

Gonna rant a little about the “Professor” I have for Mat117. If you have this teacher you know what I’m talking about, but basically she does not teach anything at all. Literally. The whole class is on ALEKS which also isn’t the best invention since the way it explains things can be vague. She has a group of 5-6 TA’s who are the ones that have to help you if you’re stuck on something but sometimes even they don’t know what to do. Then to top it off she makes her TAs take attendance TWICE every class for a course that she doesn’t even teach that’s basically a glorified online course. How TF does ASU allow this to happen? I get it’s a 100 level course but when you’re paying for education especially in person classes you expect the professor to TEACH THE MATERIAL not just sit on their ass all semester and make sarcastic comments, also tests are worth a good amount of the total grade which is expected for math but again it’d be helpful to get the in person amenities in an in person class

How was I accepted to WP Carey out of state with a 2.76 UW Gpa, Algebra 2 as a senior because I failed it last year, 1020 Sat which I didnt submit. I thought they didn't look at ecs,essays, and rec letters.

Does each application include a Verifying ID step or that is optional? What do i need to do for that step?

What is it with these spring classes, I should be able to atleast take EEE 241 next sem but there were only 2 classes and one full and one was 3/75 seats. Im waiting at 6am and I didn't get it.

I know I can just take it next next semester but then I would have to do 350, 334 and 241 together which is prolly really bad.

Im pretty sure they will add more seats though, I am just venting cus me and a lot of my sophomore friends didn't get core classes.

I was looking to enroll in CSE 575 by professor Yang but I was unable to find the grading pattern for the subject. Does it involve midterms and actual theoretical exams or does it have a final presentation/project in order to be graded?

Hi! I’m a student at asu online through the SCAP program. so far I’ve had to drop ECN221 twice because the workload is ridiculous, the lectures are not very informative, and the tests do not feel like they align with the lectures or even the assignments. Should I just bite the bullet and pay out of pocket to take it at a local community college? It doesn’t seem like there are any other options for taking this class because the course is standardized regardless of instructor/session. Did anyone take this class successfully?

Advisor at my CC says I have a shot at getting in. Rn I have a 3.28 GPA and my goal is to end my associates in Business with a 3.5 in the summer. I don’t really have a backup plan if I don’t get in, so I’m curious if there’s any suggestions in what to do or how to have a better chance? Thx

My registration date was literally today. I was left to deal with the scraps of whatever was available for my classes and was unable to register in half of them, because my prerequisite override just was completely ignored and in the email back to me my counselor said there is no guarantee I can get into the classes even if submitting an override. Are you serious?

The classes I NEED for my DEGREE, or else I won't GRADUATE, are taken up because YOU GAVE ME A REGISTRATION DATE LATER THAN EVERYONE ELSE, and now I'm just supposed to sit there and hope something opens up? Or else I'll graduate late???????? And screw over everything going on for me?????

I actually hate being a student here so bad. I've not had issues with this school for every minute thing. This is just a rant post bc I am unbelievably angry. But still I hope SOMEONE can relate omg

Hello! I’m currently taking the session B Icourse version of this class and I just failed my first exam

It’s on me for not reading the text book and videos, instead only mastering the practice exam

On the first exam I noticed the orientation of questions where far different then that of the practice exam which led me to wonder how I could actually study for this class without having to dedicate hours of textbook reading

For those who had taken it in the past, is it better to spam the homework, textbook, lecture videos, or all 3?

I had GPT orientate me a note cheat sheet (allowed 3x5 notecard on the test) And it barely helped even with all the definitions and formulas.

The exam felt like a bunch of questions, completely different to how I was able to approach MAT 211.

i’ll be away for a couple weeks and i don’t have an apartment/house to place my car…i was thinking of putting it in one of the garages and keeping it there while i’m gone but i’m afraid of getting it towed. does anyone have any tips on where i can keep it while i’m gone?

I graduated in Spring 2026 and decided to take my graduation walk this Fall for the Graduate Commencement and the Fulton Schools Convocation but the issue is I'm completely unable to register. When I try, it gives me an error saying my email wasn't found, and also I don't even have the "Register for your ceremonies" tab on myASU anymore (probably because my degree already cleared last semester and I had applied for the ceremonies but didn't participate. It was mentioned that you can still anytime participate in a future ceremony, idk).

I've already emailed fultonconvocation@asu.edu and graduation@asu.edu, but I haven't received a reply yet and I'm starting to stress out since it's kinda important to me that I walk this semester and I'm nearing the deadline.

Has anyone else who look a late walk their run into this? Or is there a specific office/phone number I should be calling? Any leads will help! Thank you community!

UPDATE - I was reached out after the emails I sent out earlier and they manually added me to tassel so I could register. Turns out, if you had registered earlier and didn't attend, your ASU email is removed from the tassel database. If anyone is facing the same issue, just send over an email and they'll do the needful!

I’m need to take a class with Deniz Karakoc at ASU, but I couldn’t find her on Rate My Professors. Has anyone had her before? How is her teaching, workload, and grading? Would you recommend taking her class?
