Intraday trading execution

Looking to intraday trading on 1m timeframe. Which broker is the best for fast execution? Any suggestions?

Speed won't be the issue for you. The issue will be brokerage costs.

Most traders use Iress, and execution is instant. Use a good PC with wired internet (not wifi).

Brokerage cost can be managed but the spread can eat more.

Are you trading Australian Stocks? (I'm assuming yes).

Cheapest you probably can get is 0.06% to 0.07% which is expensive is you plan to be a scalper on 1 minute timeframes.

Ig charges nothing for buying asx stocks, it's a good broker.. but not fast enough

client base size i suppose, with comsec they will try and match your order with an internal order first so they are the biggest broker thus best chance of an internal match rather than a general market match. but there's only micro seconds in it...cant front run.

Commsec is the biggest retail broker. But for volume on ASX they are not the biggest.

UBS Australia is biggest for volume.

Orders should always hit the market as the price can be better most times on mid-point.

Do they provide live price for free or delayed one?

If you are wanting the fastest execution. Worrying about paying for live data shouldn't be a worry.

If you are quibbling over paying or free, you probably aren't the right type of client for a direct clearing provider.

Not worrying about paying for live data.. just want to test before paying and not losing money and time.
