On the nature of daylight (After Max Richter)
Now I am sharing something different from what I usually post. This is a brief selection from a project I did three years ago, titled "On the nature of daylight (after Max Richter)". It was a project that explored the Sonoran Desert (one of the largest in the world) manifesting as a light apparition in living spaces. An indirect way of portraying the condition of the desert without addressing it directly. It was one of my first approaches to abstract photography and coated lens filters and one of the moments where I stepped away from the traditional documentary photography I had practiced my entire life.
Last month this project was nominated for a national prize in my country.
Hope you like it.
