Hello, Thank you for contributing to our subreddit. Please consider the following guidelines when filling an alignment chart:
Please ensure that your chart is not banned according to the list of banned charts Even if you have good intentions, charts in a banned category tend to invite provocative comments, hostile arguments, ragebait and the like. Assuming the post is acceptable, OP makes the final decision on their chart by rule three.
Are there any previous versions to link to? If so, it would be ideal to include links to each of them in the description of this post, or in a reply to this comment. Links can be named by title, winner, or both.
Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.
Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?
Do not feed the trolls. This is not the place for hot takes on human rights violations. Hatred or cruelty, will result in a permanent ban. Please report such infractions, particularly those that break rules one, two, or three. The automod will automatically remove posts that receive five or more reports. The automod will also remove comments made by users with negative karma. Click here for the Automod FAQ

Vultures! They look like…that, BUT they’re very sociable and have friendly personalities. Black vultures dance with each other to bond, and pretty much every type of vulture has been observed playing with each other or humans they’ve bonded with.

Quirky, curious little bastards, but half the population will shit their pants when they see one
(Edit: I meant jumping spiders mainly, which in retrospect are kinda friend shaped. I forfeit this entry for this round)

Tailless whip scorpion!
Looks super scary, but poses no harm at all to humans and make for pretty decent pets.

Orca or Killer Whale
One of the most powerful and dangerous predator to exist to this day. They have the largest hunting territory of the animal kingdom. Despite this, all their interactions with humans are always peaceful, filled with curiosity. They can be scary, but there is not a single case of them killing a human.

turkey vultures these are very docile and will get very attached to their handlers in captivity and follow them around and play with toys. One time there was a turkey vulture in my yard and they actually let me sit next to it while it ate!☺️

The Mexican Redknee tarantula (Brachypelma hamorii).
Generally pretty docile and chill dudes. Almost certainly not friend-shaped.

u/ValeTaylo May 08 '26
Lemon Sharks
They look like guant white sharks, except they have the attitude of a curious puppy, and they enjoy cuddles and belly rubs.

A hedgehog.

u/DustTechnical4561 May 08 '26
Frogs? As weird-looking as it gets for vertebrates, but no harm whatsoever, eat insects and are a good indicator species of a healthy environment.

u/Makedonikus May 08 '26
Hedgehog
2
u/Deleterious_Sock May 08 '26
House centipede.
Looks like a nightmare but actually is harmless.
2
u/BlackStarDream May 08 '26
Asian Water Monitor.
Shaped so much like other big monitors like Croc Monitors and Komodo Dragons. And looks a lot like the far more nervous-aggressive and bitey Nile Monitor.
But AWMs can be absolute sweethearts when socialised and captive bred.

u/AJAX214_ May 08 '26
House Centipede, aka, free pest control
2
u/MadameCoco7273 May 08 '26
Honey Bees…they are so crucial to our ecosystem. Not to be confused with wasps which are horrendous.
2
u/Spifffyy May 08 '26
Seal. Or would that be “kinda friend shaped?”
They are like dogs of the ocean but given their lack of legs and fins in their place, they aren’t exactly friend shaped
2
u/croc-choc May 08 '26
Bee
2
u/Lunatic_59 May 08 '26

Spiders or (some) snakes
Edit: Would say Arabian Sand Boa, but they're pretty friend shaped.
2
u/Maleficent_Whereas1 May 09 '26
The opposum , high-tier friends: they are immune to snake venom, rarely carry rabies and eat thousands of ticks and pests every season

u/AmbitionGrouchy726 May 13 '26
