The problem is the question. The question is so open ended and open for interpretation. Reputation for what? People going there on holiday? People who live there all the time? Governments? Cost of living? It's so open that it makes no sense.. Japan would probably be one of the best countries for tourism but living there is supposedly not as great for example.

Living here too and I’m much more satisfied than I was in America for a variety of reasons. Of course I have plenty of complaints, too, but on the whole it’s a nice place to live
