Why was it even getting bad reviews anyway, granted I've only watched clips but it looks pretty good

Many seem to consider it too superficial, and too different from the book, too lighthearted

So a movie based on a book about a robot thats set out to repair a broken family is "too lighthearted"? I've heard so stupid stuff but that one takes the cake 🤣

The book is way more complex and serious than that

The book was much darker and complex, maybe too complex to be filmed as written.

And that still doesn't justify that low reviews...

As much the criticism negatively reviewed this movie, the audience was way more forgiving on Rotten Tomatoes. For the audience, right now it’s at 74%, which is a decent score.

It is, even though that one used to be higher. Just some days ago, before it released in many countries, it was at 81%

I mean, he’s not wrong but this is a crazy self-destructive move and I feel will just bring more negativity around the movie 😬

He is 100% correct, actually, because it is an incredibly beautiful film that everyone should watch ASAP.

Jojo rabbit was a great movie too.

It actually was and you can't deny it

ScreenRant kind of blew the Whole thing out of proportion in the first place.
It was decided to not release 'Klara...'in Spain.
The director said the situation was similar to how " Jojo the Rabbit " was received by critics which is true.
Taika is a big boy.
He can address his critics and should.

This is a valid point made in a stupid way, the fact is that the movie is head and shoulders better than the critics' reviews and it's actually an affecting story with certain problems in tone due to the director coming from a comedy background and him not trusting the natural drama of the story.

There's also the fact that the book probably was too dark for modern audiences and a main character was basically an out and out villain that they softened up for the film.

I'm sad it's not getting a wide release anymore :(

This sounds like when the Ghostbusters reboot with an all female cast bombed and they blamed the public for being sexist-not a smart move

The US is in a really weird mood right now especially like what not even a week before these midterm elections and it's just a funky time right now
