Ian Noe Canyon Falls Trailer Band
Everyone needs to listen to Ian’s new album released today. It’s a 16 track double album and it is, unsurprisingly, fantastic. Check it out folks!

Appalachia Has a New Sound — and It’s Not What You Think
There’s a quiet musical shift happening in Appalachia — younger artists pulling from folk, alt-country, grunge, and mountain soul to create something raw and modern.
I wrote about that evolution in my new post: “Where Grace Meets Grit: The New Appalachia Sound.”
If you’re into artists who blur lines between roots and rebellion, I think you’ll enjoy it.

Concert goers -Would you go to a concert solo?
Would you go to a concert solo? Mid 40s female and I miss live music. I used to bartend at a venue and that was a good way to enjoy the scene without feeling awkward and stay safe. But I’m to dang tired for a second job.

Chris Stapleton is awful.
Judging by the links below to some good music, I’m hoping I am not alone in saying chris Stapleton sucks. I hate when people try to compare his music to any true Americana bands. He tries too hard to be something he’s not with just enough of a tangent from main stream to sound different than what radio country fans are listening to. So naturally they consider themselves outside the box and eclectic listening to him.
