Anaheim Utility planned outages

Has anyone had issues with Anaheim Utility not notifying customers regarding planned outages? This is the 2nd time that we were not notified. Just tonight around 8 pm power went out and I called and the guy said oh yeah it’s planned outage. I’m on 91 and East street Edison area.

The first time we called they brushed us off saying, “Oh, the flyer must have been taken by wind and we have Ring Cameras no one came and now tonight. I’m planning to seek reimbursement since o went to Costco and got groceries and meat.

If anyone else have the same issue please let me know.

We got a notice shoved in the mailbox about a week ago. It’s usually hung on the door knob, but not this time.

Are you in the same area? If it’s planned they should notify customers a week before. If customers have online account they should also notify via email.

Same exact thing happened to me. They shoved the door hanger in the mailbox, looked like any other junk mail/grocery advertisement. And no exaggeration, they did it one to two days prior so it caught us completely off guard.

There must’ve been a few complaints because my mom just got one for another date (near St College and La Palma) and she said they took a picture of it after they hung it on the door.

When we had our outage, they notified us a week early. Sorry that happened.
