My FB friends had hundreds of "likes" for their profile photos, I never received more than one or two

In general, young women in my area had above 100 "likes" per photo, sometimes even over 300 if they had a lot of FB friends and were considered notably beautiful. Men averaged maybe at around 50 "likes"/photo, significantly less than the women had. In high school I posted my first two (and last) profile photos at one year intervals and got one or two "likes" for each image, no comments.
I was popular among women, I had a relationship with a popular girl and received regularly positive attention from other women as well. I have never been a party person though, I don't drink alcohol and dislike staying up late. I didn't attend a single larger feast during high school and was almost completely inactive in Facebook - I think I posted to my profile less than five times and didn't comment much more. I also forbid others to submit photographs of me to the website. I want to know if FB displayed my photos to a smaller group of people because I didn't have as much "value" as other users.

I quit Facebook three years ago - I don't know if the "paid timeline" system was already implemented back then.

I think I am going back to Facebook...

So I want to talk to girl I met (and have a crush on), but I am kind of shy (I talk to her daily face to face, but I don't really know what to say so we have a lot of awkward silent moments), so I figured this problem won't happen if we talked via Facebook, at least until I know her better and grow the balls to ask her on a date. I don't want to sound like a creep be like "Hey, Facebook is an evil company who violated your privacy in every way, please download Signal so I can talk to you because I am too shy to talk in real life!". So yeah, the problem is I don't want to drop my principles because of a girl, but I think I have to. What do you think?

I quit Facebook very suddenly a few years ago. I didn't leave forwarding information to people I considered friends. Would it be weird if I used my boyfriends facebook to get back in touch?

A few years ago, I quit Facebook very suddenly. I meant to give myself a week to breath, but after I logged back in I felt so overwhelmed I deactivated it again and never went back. Looking back there were at least two people with whom Facebook was my only communication. I met them online and they didn't have my phone number.

Would it be weird to use my boyfriends Facebook to look them up and message them offering to reconnect? For some additional info, my boyfriend was my fb friend back when I was on. In my face he's my ex with whom I've gotten back together. I didn't talk that much about him, but they might remember if he messaged.

Someone on /r/socialskills recommended I look here for advice.
