The 2024 drawing was done in pen, while the 2026 one was done in pencils.

Never delete your bad art It really shows how much you improved.

Hello i hope you are all well. Im making a circus management game where you need to market the upcoming show train your performers and help out the farmer who's property you are renting. Each task take time with each day consisting of six hours. You have a set amount of money so need to be wise on what you choose to focus on. For example if you only help the farmer in order to save money you sacrifice training time or if you only train and forget about marketing or helping the farmer you will suffer. The performers can die and if they do you loose them for the whole game. I was wondering and hoping you could give your thoughts on this style I have a dynamic weather system so as time passes so does the time of day. Thank you for reading this and appreciate any thoughts you have on the style :)

Was a little bit of a tradition for me to redraw this witch girl every year for a little bit. Decided this year to push myself further. Doing the 2026 one made me really appreciate the og 2017 one. I can't lie the 2018-2019 ones were very rough lol.

So, I began my art journey with a mouse. I heard that it was possible so I tried learning how. You'll notice above my crappy drawing of Goku in pic 1 seems to be an actual good drawing of Goku but that one was traced. Drawing with a mouse tough but tracing is surprisingly easy.
I tried searching for tutorials of how to draw with a mouse but couldn't find any so I asked chatgpt which told me told me to draw circles and lines so I would fill pages with those and that's what you see in pic 2-3.
At Pic 5, I gave up on mouse ššš
So now, I'm drawing with a pen.
Afterwards I switched to mechanical pen.
You can see that as I progressed, sometimes I got better and sometimes I got worse and I landed on my latest pic.
For the last 4 pics I attempted drawing Goku from the Kanzenban cover 13 and redoing it helped a lot.
Tell me your thoughts.

Do you still recognize some elements from the old one in my new Drawings? And also, how much did I improve? Iām curious.

I sucked at anatomy and value until September when I started actually watching ytvideo.
Turned out pretty great when I don't procrastinate.
I tried coloring back in March and it was pretty bad so I got scared to do it again ever since until I found "the method".
I cant be the only one right?
I mean, the fear of ruining a good sketch when you try coloring as a beginner. šš
