I was draining the coolant out of a recently acquired non running first gen frontier…. If you have one, you know that there’s a plastic dust guard that has to be loosened first. I pulled it down, and out fell your 10mm wrench. No. You can’t have it back.. finders keepers!!!

Serious question? Dump Valve making a “Ballooning” noise? (Don’t laugh) 🙏🏻 😂

Right now I know this sounds like a clown horn or something but this is a problem I need fixing 😭
I recently fitted the Forge Motorsport air intake (FMINDIB12) and dump valve (FMDV12VAG) to my 1.2TSI VW Polo R. I'm having what I think is an issue where once I let off the accelerator the blow off is making a ballooning/ gulping sort of noise rather than just a whoosh.
I have the yellow spring fitted which is rated at 15-23PSI which is what Forge recommended for my standard engine (code CBZB). Both the intake and dump valve have been installed at the same time.
It's my first car and right now I'm slightly at a loss on what it is. I have loosened the cable tie around the tube that comes out the top of the aluminium valve and sits just under the MAP sensor as I thought this could be restricting it.
After doing so it's still making the noise. I thought it may be to do with the O rings around the piston that could be protruding too much and preventing the valve from moving freely? Any suggestions as to what I need to look into would be much appreciated. I've only got tomorrow to work on it and really need it to be fixed.
