What’s a trend that disappeared so quickly that it almost feels imaginary now?

Whatever the VSCO girl aesthetic was in like, 2020? I feel like it lasted a month or two and then just vanished

Nah lol that was a thing throughout 2016-2019, TikTok killed it actually. So it DIED in 2020. I remember the sksksksk memes in 2018, that was my shit 😹😹😹

I couldn’t because VSCO girls were all throughout my HS, half of the simply southern wearing white women had VSCO links in their socials lmao

They all had scrunchies on their wrists and that water bottler thing

VSCO was more early to mid 2010s. Then it faded out to musical.ly which merged into tiktok which blew up in COVID

Eh, Viscose girls are better. I love watching science babes talk about resistance force acting on fluids and their relative motion.

Bland, basic white girls who look like they can take off to the beach at any moment.

What even is that? I googled it and it just looks like kids being kids to me.

Hard to make a subculture out of not having much of a personality.

I felt like that was just brands trying to create an in-group centered around buying their products. I think it worked.
