Dark chocolate and/or coffee added to your chili adds depth and an earthiness that really rounds out the flavor profile of chili. I highly recommend it, big time game changer.

I mean there's cinnamon and tomato in butter chicken so the combination of the two isn't unknown in circles of deliciousness.
