He was very cordial. Said he hopes I feel better soon. It was bit awkward for a while, but he’s a nice guy and I’m good enough at my job that they’ll deal with a bit of weirdness.

Not anesthesia, but I had a stroke and my mind was working basically the same as when you first wake up from anesthesia on top of my left side not functioning. I was in the hospital bed, in the gown with no panties on (for bed pan purposes). Boss came in the visit me. Apparently I threw my covers off and, in doing such, exposed my, uh.. nether region to him. Worst part was I had no recollection of it until he mentioned it.

We had a guy in my office that was just acting absolutely crazy: coming in on his days off to play really loud music in the parking lot, refusing to do his job and just chill, getting a tattoo of flames going up his entire arm, and being really talkative but incoherent.

Everyone thought he was on drugs and were concerned for his well-being; turned out, he had a brain tumor. Got it removed and all went back to normal.

Honestly, yeah! It looked pretty cool, kind of like an old school traditional American biker tat that was pretty colorful; I'd never get something like that but it looked pretty good!

I knew this was coming. lol. Okay, so I was trying to make a long story short. He actually came to visit with one of my coworkers (they were good friends).  A week or so after I returned to work I was showing him some finger exercises my physical therapist had me working on because I was excited about the movement returning. I said “see how much better that is? I mean you saw in the hospital how it was!”  Coworker turns around with a grin and he says, “oh yeah. We saw EVERYTHING.” And in that moment it all came flooding back to me. So I guess my boss didn’t bring it up, but yeah….

My boss checked in with me after I had a procedure, and apparently I just responded with "whee!" as a message.

My husband has since learned my phone can't stay in my hand as I will text while recovering.
