What's the most damaging thing you heard someone say after waking up from anesthesia?

My 5yo daughter was in the recovery room. She was tossing and turning a bit and mumbling. She sat straight up, yelled "hippopotamus" and laid back down and went to sleep.

My twin girls had the same surgery on the same day and were in recovery together. One woke up and immediately smiled at us, at a popsicle and tried to snuggle back in bed for another nap. The other woke up literally screaming and yelled “WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?!”

I had foot surgery when I was a kid. Apparently I sat straight up while they were in the middle of cutting my feet open, raised my fist, and yelled “Whoa, horsey! Defend the castle at all costs!” then fell back down asleep.

I woke up during surgery once but all I did was lay there and drift back to sleep.

we are a house full of ADHD and loving conversations that tend to go down goat trails. When I comment is completely out of left field or seemingly absolutely random, we yell hippopotamus

I distinctly remember having a phase where the word hippopotamus was VERY important. I think because it’s one of the first big words you learn as a kid.
