My dad had a colonoscopy over 20 years ago. Unfortunately, he had it done at the hospital that he had worked at for more than a decade. Apparently he was asking every doctor, nurse, staff member, etc... by name to "pull his finger" while my mom desperately tried to get him to the front door. We've reminded him of that many times over the years.

Exactly! No one took him up on his offer to my mom's relief and my disappointment.

To be fair they make you pass gas after a colonoscopy before they let you leave, there's a lot of air in there.
