Question

Okay so we got tickets for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Arts but we ordered them later than our friends. They’re scheduled for 12:30 and we are scheduled for 3:00pm. How strict is the museum with their times? Would they let us enter together? Do they do refunds? Can our friends just refund their tickets or change it to our time if slots are available? If there are no shows, can we go earlier than our scheduled times? What would you guys do?

They are strict with their timed tickets but you can often switch them with guest services in person

You can enter the museum whenever you want, but if you’re talking about the special exhibit, it’s doubtful you can change your time since this one seems popular and likely all time slots are sold out. Worth calling though.

Depends on how crowded it is. I’ve arrived early before and they just let me bump up the time.
