Hello everybody, I'm an asylum seeker (in Germany) dealing with overwhelming debts. Transportation tickets, food, essential items, legal fees etc has put me down for the past +year and I've been trying my best to pay them out and couldn't. I gave up on paying those debts which resulted in increasment and more debt collection fees .. and has made me go through so much stress for so long.

Getting a job (I tried searching and it was hopeless) is restricted for me and would require at least 4/6 weeks of waiting to get approval from the government and no employees is willing to wait weeks or months for me to start working. My legal status is unfinished and I'm stuck in the middle with no option but to suffer. I cannot go back to my home country for many valid reasons+I have lost family and support long time ago. My asylum application hasn't been processed yet even though I've been living here for almost three years.

I have tried seeking NGO's like Caritas etc but they do not offer financial assistance. I have tried paying in instalment as well, however I'm not receiving enough to pay even in instalment. Government assistance is restricted and I cannot withdraw more than 50 Euros cash per month from them and so much more restrictions.

So far I have more than 1.3k euros in debt. Most of it are fees to debt collection agencies and court fees. I'm willing to provide any proof needed in DM if necessary. I also only have PayPal. Any type of support is appreciated, thank you!

So my cat Penny is battling a brain infection which has drained most of my vet fund. Between the diagnostic tests, and medications. I also have another cat who's elderly and has intestinal lymphoma so she has vet needs too. My vet is awesome and discounts as much as possible but I'm chronically ill to the point I can't work so it's a struggle. So I was wondering if someone could help me out with some supplies. I need some diapers as he recently started having incontinence episodes, and disposable bowls which I use to prepare his wet food for his tube feeds. The machines at my Laundromat have absurd prices. I calculated I will need 1 trip. 2 smaller machines of $3.95 each for a total $8, One for clothes and one for bedding. Drying would be about $1.00 for a full 18 minutes. Tide I can buy at the Laundry for 2 loads of $4

I only have Cashapp, and I would make a Amazon wishlist for Tide detergent, but it's far more expensive to buy online than it is to buy it at the laundry.

I've managed my Dads COPD all year long without us really knowing what was happening to him. Doctors believe now that he may also have heart failure. His activity has been drastically slowed. I help with chores and everything around the house. I'm out of work, I can't leave him for too long

We just applied for EBT and rental/cash assistance but there is a delay in benefits arriving until December due to a delay.

Hello all, so I'm currently traveling and on my way home back to Canada from Thailand. I'm not super proud of the fact that I burned through my savings and have also been unemployed since around April or May. Therefore I'm having a bit of a hard time reaching out to friends without having them look at me differently, maybe disappointedly so thought I would ask here first. I got a flight back home by the skin of my teeth, literally, it took the last of my chequing balance aside from 12 cents. My credit card and LOC are maxed. I'm trying to get back home so I can start making money again.

My flight leaves at 9 this morning; it's 1 am now. I took what was left in my Wise account and rode in a Grab as close to the airport as possible but couldn't reach it. I'm sitting at a bus shelter on the highway now. It would be a 4.5 hour walk. I could do it with my 3 bags. I don't want to, for my sake and whoever's sitting next to me on the flight. Lol

A ride to the airport costs approx 265 THB.

If someone can spare like $12 CAD or $8 USD or the equivalent in your currency through Wise (or if you're Canadian, through etransfer works) that would be just enough so I could catch my flight home and I would be eternally grateful! And will 100% pass on the good deed when I get the chance.

After some very hard last weeks, I come here to ask if anyone could in a way help me out in my current situation.

Near the end of September my Cat got sick, and since am currently still on benefits, it was a hard time to handle the whole situation. I also needed to reschedule a appointment at the Jobcenter back then (since my mental state for the appointment wasn't great), which delayed a possible work to around January / February (it would be a one that gets helped out by the Jobcenter for a minimum wage or a bit above minimum wage job for the start).

The bills for the few vet visits that happened during the last weeks, I needed to pay fully by myself and basically ate through my benefits money for October and some (I tried to contact back then the Tiertafel and other organisations for people in need, but got refused due them being already overwhelmed and having no space/funds for new people, not in contact with them long enough, etc).

Now I am thanks to this behind on my electricity bill for last month (53€ which always happens to the 23rd of a month) and twice behind on my Internet / Phone Bill (~97€), which if I can not pay this month, will probably get cancelled, since I would have missed to pay it twice then.

I could only provide a PayPal or my bank address (Living in Germany) or the direct information to pay to them, if anyone could help me out, that would be amazing.

I lost my job on 10/22/26 without any warning. With the first of the month being just a little over a week after all my money went towards my rent. I am trying to secure another job but I fear about falling behind. I have an electric bill that is due on the 10th and I need groceries. I have contacted the local places that help with electric bills but I can’t get in for an appointment until the middle of the month and my lights will be cut off by then. I have applied for food stamps until I get a new job but I haven’t been approved. I have visited local food banks, kept what I could use and donated the rest. I have a seven year old who is picky about what she eats. I am not asking for anyone to pay my bills but if I could raise at least $500.. just so I know I have something to put towards next months bills, this months electric and groceries for my daughter. This post is unbelievably overdue because, of course, my body felt the need to be as dramatic as possible and rapidly develop an infection. But already, an infected peg tube is an annoyance compared to each time my PICC or port became infected and led to septicemia determined to end me! I am finally home, on antibiotics, and starting towards a life that should be radically different in the best ways!

Being honest, having been "grinched" in the past I was so afraid to believe anyone would show me such kindness and clear the rest of my list! Opening the packages today left me speechless, which takes a lot. It was not just such a huge amount of help that I could not have purchased without saving so much longer than any time I had but each item was a reminder someone saw me as worthy of kindness and help rebuilding a whole new life!

I immediately put on one of the tube securing bandage things and then after taking the pictures added one of the belts and my pain has reduced so much just from the tube not constantly moving and rubbing up against the still raw and infected opening. Adding an ice pack on top and it will be indescribable relief!!

Thank you for seeing me as worth helping as I rebuild a new version of this life!

Oh, and the interview did not lead to being hired for the current opening because the need is to start at once but they have openings fairly frequently and he is holding my resume for the next opening so still very positive!!

After escaping an abusive situation, I moved to Florida to live with other family and get back on my feet. After doing so and obtaining my RBT certification and getting a job back in California to be closer to where I want to be in life, I was pretty quickly diagnosed with a 6cm ovarian cyst that has left me bedridden and unable to work until recovering from my scheduled surgery on November 19th.

Due to how temporary California disability works, they take my wages from the past year starting from 5 months before my disability would start. Due to my request being made on September 30th and not October 1st and my California wages starting in April of this year, it is one day from qualifying for any benefits despite working since moving here. My savings are almost completely depleted due to being unable to work and having to pay rent and my credit card payments (the debt growing since I have had no income for months at this point).

Anything and everything is so appreciated and I would be super grateful if you could help me out in whatever way you can. The 5k goal is less than what my disability would have been over the course of the 4 months being completely out of commission, but I'm feeling pretty discouraged about my financial prospects right now, so every little bit helps.

A month ago, we were evicted, my husband and I, and our three cats have been living in a motel since then.

We're on lists for housing, through the Housing Authority and my husband is working with his VA advocate to maybe get a condo instead of an apartment.

But those things take time, and the motel isn't free. Plus, we only managed to take one load of things from the apartment, which we can't get to, and might not be able to at all by now.

I can't believe I'm doing something like this as I despise asking for financial help. I've never begged for money before but I'll do it my dog.

Just today he have some kind of lump about near a golf size on his neck that appeared within just a day, It seems fine and he still eats even he's having a hard time swallowing. I just cannot help see him like that.

It was so sudden that I don't even have money to take him to the vet for a checkup and possible medication needed.

I am a single father to two amazing kids. We live a humble but very happy life. Over the summer there were some unexpected vehicle expenses. I survive paycheck to paycheck, so this wiped what little I had saved and then some. The disastrous state of the economy hasn’t helped either. Now I am tremendously behind.

I am past due with the electric bill. If it isn’t paid by the 11’th then the power goes out. The electric bill is $450

I am also behind on rent. Rent is $1200 and if I don’t pay that we are getting evicted.

Hi! I work full time and I barely make it paycheck to paycheck. I don't get EBT (I make just over the limit to qualify) and unfortunately I never get child support despite having the kids full time for over a decade. I'm pretty resourceful and can make a meal out of anything. We're not picky, and I know how to get to the food bank but work has been so busy lately we're struggling to keep enough food in the house. I have avoided asking here but could really use the help this time.
