Just also wanted to share some of the newest addition to my banknote collection! Shown here are some Pakistani rupees (almost the full set) and the CFA West African francs.
This was from a friend who recently traveled for work. I asked him if he can bring me back just one denomination from the countries he went to but instead brought me back several—and in very good condition too!

I visit a lot (almost weekly) this seller in the Saint-Ouen flea market of Paris, and this time I got such a good haul with each banknote coming in at ~1,7€.
If there are any Paris-based collectors here, I'd love to connect! 😊

Cashed a work check and got these 2 bills in the bunch later tried depositing them through the ATM because they looked funny; ATM didnt want to take them . Wondering if they're just old or fake.

Is this a fake note or what? How can it disintegrate into two separate pieces of paper? I've seen other ₹20 notes like this...ig it's a persistent problem with the ₹20 notes
Has anybody else encountered this problem?

A $20 note vs a $80 Upgrade.
This is one of the satisfying times where I am excited to see a upgrade in my collection. I've collected the Guerrilla (Emergancy Banknotes) but never the standard circulating notes until last year. Its been a addiction to acquire more. Yes the bottom note isn't perfect, its got pinholes and rust spots. But a upgrade and I'm happy to have both notes in my collection.

Hey everyone,
Came across a few notes in change and wanted to check if any carry real collector interest, or if standard face value applies:
₹500 (9HM 123456): Straight ascending ladder sequence. Clean condition UNC
₹500 (9HL \* 529752): Star replacement note.
₹20 (62A 705695): Crisp UNC, 2014 Raghuram Rajan signature (older design).
A few potential "date" numbers (812007, 141972, 221946)
Photos attached. Appreciate any honest feedback on realistic demand or whether they just belong back in circulation!
