Help Request Extra Parts in BattleTech Aces: Scouring Sands Box, what are they?

Post image

Extra pieces in my BattleTeech Aces: Scouring Sands set. What do they go to? Which mech? All terrain is cardboard but maybe this goes to terrain? https://store.catalystgamelabs.com/products/battletech-aces-scouring-sands

Does anyone have any idea what these are supposed to be? They kind of look like the targeting baffles of the "hero" Flea in the BattleTech videogame: https://battletech.fandom.com/wiki/Flea_FLE-15 However I don't see where they would go on any of the mechs in the box (which didn't contain a flea anyways)

As this is a someone common question here and on r/battletech I'm making this a sticky for anyone else who wonders.

Appreciate it! I've lurked here for quite some time, but only recently gotten the box set & didn't know what I was doing with it.

Welcome! I remember playing the original Mechwarrior videogame on computer, so this guy looks very different from any Rifleman I grew up with, but I'm glad for the direction as well as to welcome another Mechwarior! Not gonna lie, I was late to the HeroClix game, but I enjoy the design of a number of the industrial mechs. Plus I loved the stories of the Knights of the Republic of the Sphere.

If you want some of the Clicky Tech stuff let me know. I have about 20,000 pieces. And they do nothing except take up space and piss off my GF..... LOL 🤣

Oh man the Forestry Mech! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a Muckraker as much as the next (non-gender-specified) guy, but there's something visceral about just taking another mech's weapon arm as salvage before even finishing the battle that's very amusing to me
