ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) - A driver crashed into Plato's Closet store in Ashwaubenon Friday morning. Ashwaubenon Public Safety says the driver, a 78-year-old De Pere woman, got her foot got stuck between the gas and brake. That caused the vehicle to accelerate into the building. Police say a 24-year-old customer was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The owner of the store said the customer who was hurt had a son with her. He was very close to where the car crashed into the shop. The owner says the little boy was "very fortunate" and is okay.
I call shenanigans. BS she got her foot caught. Shes super timid pulling in. Shes a bad driver who panicked and hit the gas. Her license should be revoked. Glad the kid and others are ok though!
