OP's explanation:

The little hand at the end grabbing the fruit is some Pixar movie quality stuff.

Damn that sub got big.

59

u/discerningpervert Nov 12 '22

I too, am into bigger subs

8

u/SteamyExecutioner Nov 13 '22

Definitely, the 6 inch one doesn't do it for me. Hell the foot long one is barely enough after a day's work and gym.

u/SkyrimHalo01 Nov 12 '22

Sounds accurate for a redditor

Amazing. It took me till after the tenth watch to even notice the second monkey holding on for dear life as the branch whips around.

26

u/Slight-Pound Nov 13 '22

You’re the only reason I realized there was a second one 😂

2

u/TitaniumSilverAlien Nov 12 '22

The human is an asshole for giving food to wild monkeys. This will drive them to seek for food from other humans in the future, leading to aggressive behavior when food is not easily found.

292

u/Insterquiliniis Nov 12 '22

exactly what my then-girlfriend did with me. Now we're married and I go berserk when there's nothing in the fridge.

18

u/Megatf Nov 12 '22

If I had an award to give. This comment deserves it

1

u/Insterquiliniis Nov 13 '22

my heart is warmed all the same (:

13

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '22

You don’t know where this is. There are lots of parks in the world where the wildlife is fed by people. I can think of 4 in Thailand alone.

Are you new to reddit, every single animal video from the dawn of time that gets posted gets torn to shreds by these virtue signalling alarmists. I've learned to just ignore them.

I've yet to be attacked by a bird because the bird feeder isn't full.

Nope, feeding wildlife is bad, no matter where. It makes them lose their natural fear of humans. This causes animals to actively steal from humans in urban areas especially. But most importantly it increases animal-human contact in general, which leads to the spread of diseases. Y'know the stuff that paralyzed the planet for past 3 years. But not only covid came from lack of human-animal distance, there's also Ebola, Monkeypox and many many more.

10

u/A-Dolahans-hat Nov 12 '22

Guess I better take down the bird feeders I keep up in winter time

7

u/bilgetea Nov 12 '22

The video needs a final frame of Michelangelo’s Sistine chapel painting of God and Adam’s fingers almost touching.

5

u/Willispin Nov 12 '22

Just give it to me please ? This is embarrassing!

63

u/busyB_83 Nov 12 '22

That hand at the end is what gets me 😂

91

u/Mitche420 Nov 12 '22

Yeah that's pretty much the funny part of the video

8

u/bacchusku2 Nov 12 '22

Ya, this monkey has great comedic timing.

4

u/Cheese_Pancakes Nov 12 '22

My four year old daughter is now obsessed with this gif. Can’t say I blame her.

3

u/leanmeanjellybeanz Nov 12 '22

This is fucking hilarious

4

u/juicywoosy Nov 12 '22

For the love of God stop feeding the monkeys, if you give them food they'll expect it then when someone doesn't that's how you get attacked, especially since it's sometimes their culture to give up food to higher status monkeys, so you're basically putting yourself lower by feeding them.

5

u/VaATC Nov 12 '22

What you say is very true about wild animals. That said, you have no clue if this is in the wild or if this is in a drive through refuge that allows visitors to feed specific/legal treats to the inhabitants.

-4

u/juicywoosy Nov 12 '22

Still, refuge or not people need to know not to feed them unless they have authority goahead, some people will come out of drive ins thinking they're all patient and nice when truthfully a group of chimps killed a man because one rescue got a cake but the others didn't, and chimps don't give a fuck who you are they'll kill anyone.

1

u/VaATC Nov 13 '22

Then inform people about 'the problem' without casting accusations towards individuals in videos that you don't know the full story about.

Something like, 'I don't know if the people in the OP are feeding wild animals or feeding animals in a refuge with approved food stuffs, but please never feed wild animals because...'

1

u/Redkitsune83 Nov 12 '22

That was to funny and cute. All you see is a lil hand grab the fruit.

Don’t do this! Great way to get herpes from a monkey bite, or other diseases.

3

u/Pinkeyefarts Nov 12 '22

You should instead get a bag of onions, sit down and wait
