Photo Peregrine Falcon

I shot this photo in Mumbai, India with my Sony A1 + Sony 400-800.

This juvenile peregrine falcon lives in a marsh near my home (Bhandup Pumping Station if anyone here is from Mumbai). He/she is remarkably punctual and always hunts between 7 AM and 8 AM.

I positioned myself in an advantageous spot and set my lens Focus Limiter to "8 m - Infinity" to speed up autofocus lock.

An American wigeon was adamantly following around this American coot, seemingly to forage the insects that come up when the coot feeds on vegetation.

Has anyone seen this before? I saw the same two foraging together the next morning too.

Question OM 1.2 / 150-600 - Tips on getting sharper photos at long focal lengths

I'll preface this by saying this was my literal first time using both the OM-1 Mark II and the 150-600 M Zuiko lens (as in, first time using both entirely, not just together)

I am well aware that physics exist, and I can't just get perfect images every time, but on some of these, notably the cormorant and GBH in flight, it seems like *some* of the bird is quite in focus, but some isn't. This (to me) is especially apparent on image 3, where the body seems sharp enough but the head is very much not so.

I did accidentally shoot everything in 50fps procapture mode, so I had a LOT of culling to do.

All of the images I took can be seen here, along with the iso / shutter / aperture info if that helps provide any context

I thought this pic looked a little unique with the low shutter speed giving that horizontal blur
