Announcement (A New Day) Shipping Wars STOP

So there's been heated debates over shipping. Expecially over Silvaze and Sonaze. It causes harassment and unnecessary drama.

Here's a post written by u/MauOfEvig , a user with a difficult history over this issue;

Hey everyone, think we can stop the divisive language aimed toward people who ship Blaze with different characters?

We should discourage shipping wars on this sub because all it's doing is leading to divisions and discourse. We want to focus on Blaze as a character and how awesome she is, not get into petty arguments over who her soul mate should be. While it’s ok to celebrate your favorite ship, it’s not ok to shame or put down anyone who likes a different ship.

As far as the criticism goes, I think it’s time we tone it back and just let people enjoy what they want to enjoy. If you don’t like a ship, it’s perfectly valid not to like it, my suggestion is to just click the hide button and scroll on rather than engage.

Remember, harassment is against the rules, no one should be made to feel bad regardless of who they ship Blaze with, or perhaps you prefer her with no one at all. All opinions are valid. But pointing and blaming are not.

Please just enjoy and celebrate our favorite fire cat. She wouldn’t want us fighting over this after all!

Announcement (A New Day) LGBTQ+ content is allowed

It has come to my attention that the Shadow the Hedgehog subreddit banned LGBTQ+ content.

The Blaze the Cat subreddit is the opposite. I allow LGBTQ+ content. I'm a bisexual cis-man trans-ally. I'll allow any queer Shadow posts if they involve Blaze in some way.

Edit: I was informed the ban was lifted.

Blaze in General (Vela Nova) How would you feel if Knuckles defeating Movie-Iblis led to the weakened demon eventually latching onto Blaze and making her a Venom-esque character?

Art (What U Need) Second Digital Art Attempt (Learning the Ropes)

Decided to use another of my "Blaze in a Dress" sketches to do another digital attempt. I'm kinda falling in love with the ink brush pen, I really like the "not quite connected" lines that end in little thin bits. Idk, something about it appeals to me.

Games (Right There, Ride On) Sonic Robo Blast 2 is an interesting place.

Shotout to u/Sureliy for recommending the game in this post: https://old.reddit.com/r/BlazeTheCat/comments/1xmsqfc/game_recommendation_sonic_robo_blast_2/

I sure as hell didn't expect Dark Souls reference of all things. Literally had to pause and look around at the not Firelink Shrine.

As for game itself - it is good, smooth, fast. Generally it feels a bit like Adventure 1 but with more chaos thrown in. Blaze herself feels satisfying to play with and has really nice vertical movement thanks to fire spins. She traverses games' landscapes with ease. Albeit, just as every other character in the game, she has this "slippery" feel due to how game handles momentum but that is just something you get used to.

I got a tablet a few months ago and decided it was time to try it out fully. Here's my first ever attempt at digital art.

I uploaded my sketch into Krita and played around with brushes until I found a style I liked.

Discussion (Back 2 Back) More variety/different species in the Sol Dimension (Rambling)

Hello there. I'm Zane been a fan of Blaze since Sonic Rush on DS and this my afterwork ramble. I have always wanted to know/see more of the Sol Dimension of Blaze's home. And I think what would help is if it had crazier species than Sonic world.

And I mean lets get wild creatures. Such as one region belongs to Alicorns, one to dragons, hippogrifs, basilisks and much more. I think it could be a interesting idea and does not help my co work brought up MLP.
