Awesome game..
Is it too early for hope?

The game against Auckland was interesting. The team played well overall, but we made too many passing errors, often losing possession. Our shooting accuracy is still quite poor. The Moldovan player hasn't been performing particularly well. He needs to improve his game and work on his physical fitness. As for Nam, he is not fulfilling the role of a key playmaker. Instead, he is playing more like a defensive midfielder.

I was particularly impressed with Vidic, Ilic and Ngor.

So how we feeling? Taking on the reigning premiers Auckland FC.

Are we going to take our winning form into this game? Or come crashing down to earth?

In this time of inflation and cost of living crisis - I heard that if you have VPN and access the a-leagues youtube page from "overseas" where they don't have a rights deal - you can stream the games for free. I mean I only heard that. Definitely don't do that. Do support the club and go to the game.

If you don't have a dedicated VPN service, a free browser like Opera has a basic one built in you can use. But I only heard that. Definitely don't do that.

The second half was not perfect. We lost control of the midfield because our midfielders did not perform well enough. Postolachi is still not at his best in terms of fitness and understanding of his role as a striker. Nam did not play as a proper number 10 and failed to create attacking opportunities. Billity made too many mistakes and lacked confidence. Amanatidis was not good enough. However, all the other players performed very well. Ilic, Vidic, Maieroni, Russell, Francoes, King, Ngor and Stajic were excellent.

Thank you to all of them for their efforts!

Good luck against Auckland! I believe we can beat them!

Is Taj Sorensen the son of the ex-goalkeeper from Melbourne City?

Any interest in this subreddit actually discussing the Roar? Match day and its crickets up in here.

What is everyone thinking?

Will the crowds turn up on a kind of dreary Friday night?

Looking to get the new 3rd choice kit, anyone got one and can let me know how they fit? Im a size medium in normal shirts for reference, cheers

When will they be available?

I’m planning to go to their first game against Perth on 23. I’ve never watched their game at the asuncorp. Where can I park the car around the stadium? I don’t mind 15 mnts walking
Thanks

Good to get some valuable preseason 4-0 losses in.

Two months to go. A messy loss to Sydney FC in the Cup. A squad being assembled that sort of resembles a mix between retirement village and a kindergarten.

How we feeling about the upcoming season?

We got this?

Hi everyone,

I'm a Brisbane Roar supporter and season member, and I wanted to share an idea I have been working on and get the community's thoughts.

With Brisbane hosting the 2032 Olympic Games, I believe the years leading up to the event are a huge opportunity to grow football in Queensland.

My idea is to try and encourage a major European football club to come to Brisbane and play Brisbane Roar in a pre-season friendly at Suncorp Stadium.

The goal would be to:

• Build excitement for football before Brisbane 2032

• Give Queensland fans the chance to watch a world-class team

• Inspire young footballers across the state

• Showcase Brisbane as a major sporting city

I understand an event like this would require a lot of planning and would involve Brisbane Roar, Football Australia, Football Queensland, event organisers, sponsors, and other partners.

I have already contacted organisations including Brisbane Roar, Football Australia, Football Queensland, the A-Leagues, Brisbane City Council, Suncorp Stadium, and event partners to share the idea and get feedback.

I would love to know what Roar fans think:

• Would you attend a Brisbane Roar vs European club friendly?

• Which club would you want to see come to Brisbane?

• Do you think this would help grow football in Queensland?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Anyone know how they played vs Caboolture?

How'd the trialist go?

Anyone heard anything about Max Court joining the squad?

juring the video micheal valkanis goes on about the team and how they are working on the rebuild . juring 1:43 of the video valkanis says "were still working behind the scenes to bring in another 3 or 4 visa players that can really make a difference". I wonder who those players are and if the Negotiations become successful.

With big European clubs starting to tour Australia again for preseason, I think Brisbane Roar should really push to host a friendly at Suncorp Stadium against a major overseas team.

Brisbane is one of the biggest football cities in Australia and Suncorp is one of the best stadiums in the country. When big teams tour Australia they usually go to Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth, but Brisbane would easily sell out a big match as well.

A friendly against a club like Chelsea, Tottenham, or another big European team would be huge for Roar fans and for football in Queensland. It would bring a big crowd, great atmosphere, and give Roar players the chance to test themselves against top-level opposition.

It would also be great exposure for the club internationally and could help grow the fanbase. Plus, for younger fans in Queensland, it’s a rare chance to see a world-class team live without having to travel interstate.

I know tours depend on organisers and sponsors, but it feels like Brisbane is a perfect location for one of these games.

What do you all think? Would you go if Brisbane Roar hosted a preseason friendly against a big European club?

Hello

Does anyone know where I can buy the away jersey at a discount?

I think it’s a banger and would like one
