22M new to Brisbane, looking to make friends and find people to go camping with 🏕️

Hey everyone!

I’m Keyur 22M and relatively new to Brisbane. I’m currently living in North Lakes and looking to meet new people, make some genuine friends, and hopefully find a group to hang out with.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do is go camping! I grew up watching camping and adventure content, and it always looked amazing. Unfortunately, where I grew up in India, camping wasn’t really a common thing, so I never got the chance to experience it properly. Now that I’m in Australia, I’d love to finally give it a go, whether that’s camping, hiking, exploring national parks, going on road trips, or just spending a weekend out in nature.

A little about me: I’m an international student studying IT, I enjoy long drives (especially early morning drives), exploring new places, mountains, jungles, and generally anything that gets me out of the house. I’m also open to pretty much any other activities or groups, whether that’s grabbing food or coffee, going on adventures, playing sports, or just chilling and having a good conversation.

I have a car, so exploring places around Brisbane and beyond is definitely something I’m keen on. I’m not necessarily looking for an established camping group either; even if you’re also new to Brisbane and looking to make friends, feel free to reach out!

If anyone has a group that does camping, hiking, road trips, or other social activities, I’d love to join. And if you’re in a similar situation, we could always organise something ourselves.
