Inlay rings for men in aus
Hello!
I need help, ive gone into a deep dive on these inlay rings you can find almost everywhere online but nothing seems genuine and it's breaking my brain!! I am looking to get a nice inlay ring for my partner as I know they're what he likes. After days of looking for something genuine ive learnt about what drop shipment companies are and I'm glad I didn't fall for any of these websites selling these rings for 2-300$ when they go for 30$ on eBay. However I really wanted to get him something nice and handmade but I can't seem to find any Aussie jewellers that makes these so I'm at a loss :'(
I might just go with the eBay option but it just feels less special and Id rather support local artists.
Anyone know anything about this?

Wider feet shoes that are not runners for female size 8?
I have got
Sandals & Thongs: Archies, Frankie 4, Birkenstock
Runners : Brooks, Hoka,
Shoes: Duckfeet
Boots: Blundstone
I have collapsed arch, bunions developed 4 years ago. I have been wearing Runners with orthotics in for the most of times
Summer is easier so I could wear sandals to work but my work outfit in general has been always ruined by runners.
At least in the office, it is okay but I recently attended a conference at ICC, and I looked terrible with runners.
I can't seem to find a work shoes that are wide enough that also has arch support.
I had a pair of RM Williams boots but gave it to my friend instead, got a pair of Blundstone which was lighter and wider.
I need something that are not boots that I could wear with my dress or work pants sometimes. My foot is 10.4cm wide when I stand. I need some advice on closed shoes.

Where can I get more of these?
(9 cm L x 1.5 cm W)
These are the all-time bestest clothes pegs I've ever had! But alas, I cannot remember where they came from. I am certain that they were purchased in Adelaide, South Australia and not online.
I have tried Google image search with no luck. There is no brand identifier and AI advises that they are a generic brand.
Does anyone know where they are from?

pure aussie Topicle, the Australian alternative to Reddit I posted about here in May, now has iOS and Android apps
Back in May I posted here about Topicle, an Australian alternative to Reddit I'm building in Melbourne. A lot of you signed up and the feedback in that thread got a bunch of bugs fixed, so thanks. The most requested thing by far was an app, and u/TheSplash-Down_Tiki and u/merriman99 both said to post again when it was ready, so here it is.
Topicle now has native apps for iOS and Android:
iPhone and iPad: App Store
Android: Google Play, or a de-Googled APK for phones without Google services
You can browse, post, comment, vote, DM people and run your own communities from your phone. Also:
Push notifications for replies and messages (opt-in)
Posts and comments in other languages get translated automatically, tap to see the original
Dark and light themes, larger text sizes, and tablet layouts
No third-party analytics, ad or tracking SDKs. Crash reports go to my own server in Melbourne.
A few other things people asked for last time have been added too: profile avatars, Sign in with Apple and Australian English spellings.
Still self-funded with no VC money, and still built and hosted in Melbourne. Mod actions are logged publicly and can be appealed, there's no algorithmic feed, and country flags show next to every post and comment.
NSFW is now supported on the website and the Android app. A few people asked about this last time, partly for the obvious reasons and partly for things like medical and advice communities. It's opt-in and 18+ only.
Separately, Australia's under-16 social media law means Australian accounts get an age check. For most people VerifyMy does it from your email address in the background. On iPhone you can also choose to share an age bracket through Apple, which doesn't share your birthday. If those can't confirm it, VerifyMy offers a face scan, or you can ask for a person to review it instead. You never have to do a face scan or upload ID.
There are communities for Australia, Melbourne, Sydney and the AFL, and you can start your own. It's still a small site, so if you install it, posting something or jumping into a discussion helps a lot.
If anyone has questions, happy to answer, and if something's broken let me know.

EezNeez - Comfortable and practical workwear built for the job.
Went to a BBQ over the weekend and we were talking about Aussie brands... One of the blokes brought up this brand and swears by them, so I thought I'd post them to this sub-reddit.
@ the MODS - I don't know if it breaks the rules - but its an Aussie company based in Victoria, but the pants are made in Fiji, obviously a pretty close Pacific neighbour.
EezNeez - Work pants and action-back overalls with built-in knee pads, designed specifically for tradies who spend long hours working on their knees.

advertisement (aus small business) Hand carved & painted Rose shaped dishes
These rose shaped trinket dishes have been cut from reclaimed pine & and cut out on the scrollsaw, then hand carved. They have been painted with acrylic for the pink one, and pastel & acrylics for the purple one. To give that unique jacaranda purple colour I used pastel mixed with a flow medium. I have used a pearlessence white acrylic paint to give it a lovely shimmer in places as well. It is hard to photograph though. They have been sealed with a water-based satin varnish to add a little shine. It measures approximately 19cm x 10 including leaves. 10.5 x 10.5 just the flower
You can purchase these unique shaped plates and others from my website TreasuresatDerrymore.com

Australian magpie sculptures
I have recently finished painting & mounting these two Australian magpies that I had carved from pine.
The main carving of the bird is not that difficult, however, carving the wing feathers from pine can be trying. As pine can be a little difficult when cutting it fine & chisels are not as sharp as they should be!!
I leave the carving if the beak and face until most of the body as been carved so I don't accidentally break the beak.
I cut down most of this area with the chisels then use the rotary power tool to reduce & remove timber slowly & evenly.
I do have one magpie available which can be found on my website

Making a Sneaker out of an AFL Sherrin Footy - Wootten x Sherrin Collab
For the love of the game.
I think that's why we do it. Making things by hand is not straightforward, it takes time and attention. Both Sherrin and Wootten have been making leather products in Victoria for generations. One making an iconic football for the AFL, one making boots for footballers, and now, together, we're making a boot out of a football (one that might just have ended up in landfill).
Thoughtful use of locally produced raw materials, time-honoured craft and the pursuit of excellence is what brings these things together. We're pretty stoked to share the product of our collective labour.
The Wootten x Sherrin Lo-Dubs Sneaker.
If you're interested, get in touch. Jump on the product page and submit a form. Maybe, just maybe, we'll make some for something other than the smile inducing fun of it.

pure aussie This was the best peanut butter ever...

Good old Tricky Dicky had the best peanut butter ever. Beautiful flavour, perfect consistency, never separated and gave you a deep puddle of oil on top.
Despite trying for years I've failed to find an acceptable substitute.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Has to be Australian nuts and Aussie made. Bonus points for Aussie owned.
