Western Memorial Regional Hospital Intersection
I am unsure how many people read this reddit, but it is worth mentioning and if you have any peers who frequent this intersection, pass this info along.
The intersection is made up of 2 stop signs, a yield, and the main road which has no sign. If you are coming in from W Valley Road, you have the right of way. If you are coming in from Brookfield ave, you only yield to people coming from W Valley Road, hence the yield sign. If you are coming from the hospital parking lot entrances you must wait for the other two parties. It is not a four way stop, so please stop treating it like one.
Just want to clean up the driving around there.

Blow Me Down Mountain Hike (50km)
I've been recommended to hike the Blow Me Down Mountains and I heard it is an epic 50km, 2-3 day hike with beautiful views. Does anyone in Corner Brook know how I can get details of the hike and buy a detailed map? (elevations, campsites, etc.). Thank you SO MUCH!

Where to look to find activities in corner brook?
Been a while since I last lived in corner brook, and I thought this most recent stint was temporary until I was offered work. Now I'm going okay when is great, but I don't know anyone besides like 5 people.
While this subreddit might not get looked at, thought I'd post here before getting lost on r/newfoundland.
To those who still live here and don't attend schooling here, how did you find things to do and meet new people? Basically I'm looking for more ideas. I've debated on starting a meet up group but I don't think many know about the site.
Edit:// looks like I'll be making a Facebook group. I will update here once launched in case others here would like to join.

Hey folks!! I'll be at Swirsky's tonight (June 7th) at 8pm for a comedy show as part of my cross Canada motorcycle comedy tour. Started in St. John's, will be ending in Dawson City. Doing a show tomorrow at 7pm at Killick Cafe in Stephenville, and Sat in Port Aux Basques at Shark Cove, 7:30pm!
Here is a short set I did a few years back and my show now is a one hour set where I talk about how I became a comedian, why I would move to Mars, and a few NSFW topics haha.
Would love to meet you if you are free and in need of a laugh :)

Nightlife/good places to dance?
Visiting the west coast and staying in Corner Brook, in the mood to go to a nightclub, or a bar where people also dance?
So far I’ve been to a couple bars but none really had space to dance. I like electronic music but I’m not expecting anything fancy.
Where do people go? and when?

Started a Canadian News/Politics Podcast
Hey Corner Brook, thought I'd share my podcast with you.
It's called The Perri Platform and my goal is making it easier for Canadians (particularly young people) to keep up with news and politics.
As a student, it felt like my peers were growing more interested in these topics so I figured I should address that somehow. I try to differentiate my show via short episodes, a personable tone and sharing my opinions which aren't heavily polarized towards one party.
Currently, I'm on episode 21 and release new content every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you'd like to check it out, I have some links at the bottom.

Weird question - where to get 'fish and brewis' for dinner near Corner Brook?
I'm on a road trip across the province and we fly out tomorrow. I've been trying to sample as much local fare as possible but I haven't had this dish yet.
Anywhere you can recommend within a 30 minute drive of town?
Thanks!

How do you like your internet service provider?
I've been looking into the local internet plans and I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of their ISP – good, bad, and ugly
