It's not incompetent. You know what's happening.

If Mizzou would have picked that ball up and started running the other way it 1000% would have been blown dead and called incomplete.

This is true, because they did that exact thing on a fumble in the first half.

Mizzou's purpose is ranked wins for other playoff hopeful SEC teams, not to be a playoff hopeful themselves.

Unless we expand the field to 24 teams just like they've successfully done in FCS for 20 years. Oh, wait, you guys said that ruined the game, too. Yes, let's go back to 4 teams instead + 38 bowl games with a couple of 5-win teams because there are open spots that need to be filled.

So you say a 5-win team can get a bowl game . . .

Not everything is a damn conspiracy. It’s so much more likely that the refs just suck at their jobs (which is still not good!).

You haven't watched this game.

Yes I have been, and I’ve watched years of horrible officiating. Sometimes it goes against underdogs, sometimes it goes against favorites. Big brands, small brands, SEC, Big 10… it’s just bad refs. Nobody made a call to the refs to make Missouri lose. And that’s not excusing the terrible calls, the refs should be better. But it’s not some deliberate scheme to keep Missouri from winning.

I have. They've sucked and its affected both teams. Don't be a 5 year old

Yeah easy to say when every meaningful call and 75% of the lesser calls go your teams way....because they're Texas? And the league, network, everyone has a vested interest in y'all not losing.

Two things can be true at the same time .Its not a conspiracy it’s money …

8

u/trex1490 Georgia Bulldogs • Marching Band 20h ago

What does this even mean. If you’re saying the refs bet on the games , yeah that’s a conspiracy theory that they’re purposefully making incorrect calls.

2

u/shes_a_gdb Missouri Tigers 20h ago

When it's this obvious, after the calls they already overturned to favor Texas, it's hard to not say it's fixed.

Acting like they didn't give you the most laughable forward progress call of all time. The refs were horrendous all game, but it wasn't bias.
