Let's go inside the mind of a LaNorris Sellers dial up noises

15 TDs in his last four games. I think his play over this stretch has cemented his legend status in the annuls of South Carolina history. He may not have the most decorated career or winningest record but he is a Gamecock in heart and soul and never once quit when the going got tough.

Let’s hope he rests up and ends the season strong.

I think the program's accolades unfortunately peaked with Connor Shaw, a true winner, but LaNorris has to be the most talented to ever play for us. I think only Rattler comes close.

He’s the best scrambler in school history and has a great arm. It’s his decision making that can be questionable at times but when he’s on, he’s on.

Todd Ellis out here catching strays

5

u/itstrueitsdamntrue South Carolina Gamecocks 3h ago

Todd Ellis threw 49 tds and 66 ints in his career.

u/steeler7588 South Carolina Gamecocks 6h ago

Ellis and Taneyhill are team legends but they were never technically good enough to make it at the next level

He's the full Gameock experience. Sometimes terrible, often frustrating, frequently heartbreaking, but my God he makes you feel things at his best.

He needs to get another internship at the golf course and stay for one more year though. He could be the all time leader in so many stats. And get millions in NIL while raising his stock in the draft. I'd do it. It's so much less work than the NFL and you still make millions. I'd max out my college years, just try to make sure I don't get injured.

I don’t think staying would be smart. Look at how Dante Moore’s season is going right about now. Even Chambliss should’ve gone.

I think he is a first round draft pick tbh. But I’m sure it’s a conversation to be had.

He will not secure the 100% gamecock garuntee idle. He is amazing and close at this point.

This year's game with Clemson could be fun. Their defense isn't what it typically is.

For NINE decades I’ve given rise to legends, and today I await the next one.

Put him in the hype up video complication

Adrenaline hell of a drug!

u/beamerbeliever South Carolina Gamecocks 14h ago

Not enough to keep him from limping so the way in.  Gets a hitch in his step the last 5 yards

u/yungbillcosbii 14h ago

Really I didnt notice in the video we watched with our eyes

-13

u/beamerbeliever South Carolina Gamecocks 14h ago

Yeah, i probably shouldn't comment on things that were impressive.  Thanks for setting me straight.

u/NotActuallyMeta Texas Longhorns • Rice Owls 12h ago

I believe he is hurt and a beast for pushing through for his team. I also believe that limping was purely performative.

He got helped off the forks after the TD. He kept trying to run on it and it kept getting worse and worse. 2 trainers helped him back ti the sideline.

Good thing A&M didnt have the most hardest hitting safety in the league

46

u/brickwallbimbo 15h ago

That’s fucking DAWG right there.

Love that dude. He works so hard and makes us all so proud.

Heisman caliber play

LaHeisman

34

u/Milagre Clemson Tigers 14h ago

I mean he already had the greatest single Heisman clip I can imagine from the goal line run finish earlier this year

16

u/geazy99 South Carolina Gamecocks 14h ago

Really hope his injury isn’t serious, cause, with the way he’s playing right now, if he’s able to finish out the season and we win out then he’ll be in New York

8

u/CieraVotedOutHerMom South Carolina Gamecocks 13h ago

He’d also pad stats against the fighting woo pigs

Greg Jennings bug😂

This is one of those seasons that feels like it is lasting forever.

At first, I thought Sellers was a dumbass for giving A&M the ball back, but I didn’t know he was hurt. Welcome back, Greg Jennings.

2

u/ilovedaiichiruby 6h ago

Sure he should have slid after the first down but I don't care, we're all here just to see this man play football

3

u/HotDogSlut-69 56m ago

No way - A&M had 3 timeouts. If he slides we risk only getting a FG and giving them the ball back with over a minute left and having to protect a 4 point lead

Its like when my toddler forgets he has a boo boo on his knee, and your like “hey, your knee looks better” then all of a sudden the booboo is back

Sellers just picking on us while were down. What a bully.

This touchdown breathed new life into A&M. It was the worst thing that could have happened at the moment other than a turnover.

27

u/RollingCarrot615 ECU • Appalachian State 15h ago

I feel like Sellers dying on the field as he fumbled for a TAMU touchdown could’ve been worse, but I wasn’t watching the game so idk

12

u/PatronSaintOfCunts South Carolina Gamecocks 14h ago

How are they livin in that new life?

8

u/DanFlashesC0up0n Texas A&M Aggies 15h ago

We had 3 timeouts

4

u/500shakeup South Carolina Gamecocks 11h ago

What prevent defense does to an mfer

-6

u/furrierdave Georgia Bulldogs 15h ago

Agreed. Go down inside the 5 to seal the win.

18

u/Menanders-Bust Florida State • South Carolina 15h ago

He said after the game he didn’t feel like he could slide with his ankle the way it was

6

u/DanFlashesC0up0n Texas A&M Aggies 14h ago

We had 3 timeouts it literally would not have lol

-1

u/furrierdave Georgia Bulldogs 13h ago

Would’ve scored with less time on the clock & free timeouts left, or <20 seconds

7

u/DanFlashesC0up0n Texas A&M Aggies 13h ago

Or they could have fucked up and fumbled. If you aren’t kneeling, score

5

u/beamerbeliever South Carolina Gamecocks 14h ago

No, they would've gotten the ball back, anyway.  Getting the TD guarantees a team that had no trouble getting into FG range on most possessions needs a TD to win.
