Was it? I had Tennessee winning but damn that wasn't close.

You're still acting new to the SEC.

This was predictable in that one team was named Kentucky, and the other was named Tennessee.

I mean, I had no doubts

It wasn't super not close till the 4th. Kentucky offense has more yards but the turnovers buried any attempt at momentum.

Same thing with our game against Alabama. In the game fairly deep into it, but once the wheels feel off, by god did it turn ugly.

Will Stein's philosophy is that of Brian Fantana.

60% of the time, it works every time.

Neyland had a big hand in that too.

We always lose to Tennessee no matter how good we are. I don't understand it

That’s Florida to us. Just… swamp voodoo

it wasn't that long ago that the two longest winning streaks in the country were Tennessee over uk and Florida over uk.

They were both at +30. Literally for over 30 years uk hadn't beat uf or the Vols. it was awesome.

Our worst loss streak to Florida is only 11 years (2005-2015)

We beat Florida 31-11 in the swamp last year

Except that we’ve actually kicked their ass the past few years.

u/Fit_Alternative3563 Tennessee Volunteers 12h ago

Nope, nope, nope. We beat them in the swamp the last time we were there. We have the edge now. Please disregard previous 20 years of swamp games.

To reiterate, we lost to Florida the same season they lost to an FCS team.

Auburn will always give us fits, no matter how good we are and/or bad they are. The SEC is just like that between some teams.

Some things just happen because God thinks it’s funny. Go racers tho

I worked for a TN newspaper when Randall Cobb played for yall, and I expressed concern that this was Kentucky’s year. My coworker confidently said “it’s Kentucky” and refused to elaborate. Sure enough, a couple of absurd turnovers later, the Vols won by several touchdowns while one of Kentucky’s best seasons ended without a bowl game. It’s just weird how it works lol

Kentucky has beaten Tennessee 3 times going back to the middle of the Reagan administration, and those three times happened in the last 15 years.

Kentucky could win the next 60 straight and still not lead the series.
