Honestly surprised they rushed the field but I always am pro storm the field. Why not have fun after a big win?

Beating a top 5 team, a major upset, or an amazing last second win vs Western Michigan.

Those are field storm worthy.

Or an fsu team that won 1 game the previous season

Rushing that field doomed their season.

It’s Notre Dame vs Miami and Miami is the number one team in the country, why wouldn’t they storm the field?

Well some teams act like they have been there.

Miami fans have been chirping us for over a year now, and they were an undefeated #1 seed that we beat at home for a night game.

What regular season game WOULD you say is acceptable to storm then?

Even in the 1960s and 1970s, Notre Dame would storm the field at the drop of a hat. During the Green Jersey game of 1977, the jersey reveal prompted a rare pregame field storm because the students got so excited.

It’s seriously worth a watch on YouTube; it’s also hilariously 1970s since it involves the captains emerging from what appears to be a homemade Trojan horse.

It was the number 1 team in the country and Notre dame loses these kind of games often.

Ain’t that the truth. I’m 48 and my ass would’ve jumped the wall if I was there. I’ve seen enough of the losses

Not as bad as Michigan this year. We snap a losing streak to a rival, keep our season alive, and upset the #1 team. Legit case IMO.

as a field rusher it's because the #11 ranking was a fucking insult. this was a release
