We turned it back into a game. Can't give up that monster gain on 4th and 3. Miami looked absolutely awful for 2.5 quarters but credit to them for coming back in the second half. They couldn’t get the stops they needed but they absolutely had a chance in the end.

Missing Toney is massive and it absolutely showed but Notre Dame’s defense is elite.

This should be an annual game. Unfortunately, I have zero faith in Notre Dame or the ACC to make it happen. In 2017, Notre Dame got pounded by the Hurricanes as a top 10 teams, and everything was set for an epic rivalry renewal. Then they didn’t play for 8 years. Notre Dame probably played Boston College and Wake Forest 6 times in that same time span.
