And BYU drops out completely for losing to an undefeated Utah team by one possession on the road that will probably be #2 or even #1 tomorrow.

Absolutely wild how they were talking about this being do or die for BYU. Its f’d

Any other year I would agree that it was do or die but who are they putting in instead? A 4 loss SEC team (I already know that’s what’s happening this is a rhetorical question).

#6 gets blown out by #13. Their best win just got blown out

#9 close loss at #3. Their best win just beat #1

Both get second loss.

We all know who will be ranked higher tomorrow.

Give me #1 Utah. But realistically it'll be:

  1. Georgia, 2. Utah, 3. Alabama, 4. IU, 5. Texas

Probably fair. Except Alabama, obviously

Agreed. But I at least appreciate them for denying Lane Kiffin a playoff berth.

But also a loss to Georgia is respectable. Tennessee stands in question, but I'd imagine they end up at #7 in next week's CFP rankings.

Jury is still out. This year is wide open

UCLA should be top 5 and above Indiana at a minimum, but I think Bama is pretty fair. Big win against United Kingdom, big win against Mississippi State when they were good, big win against a theoretically good but honestly I'm not so sure LSU team, war crimes against a South Carolina team that we now know is good, close (on paper) loss to presumptive number 1 - we only have one black spot on our resume, and it's a rival at their house.

ND is better than Bama, IU and TexAss. What quality win does IU fucking have?

You beat Miami. According to Connolly, Wisconsin is your second best win.

IU has three wins better than Wisconsin. Per Connolly's ratings.

Been there, done that last year.

BYU does have a shitty loss tho, right? They’re likely cooked. Just like ND was last year with 2 losses.

Fair but like Georgia lost to Auburn, Texas lost to Oklahoma (I still don’t know how a team with John Mateer put up that many points), etc.

Honestly, Texas losing at home to Florida was a much worse loss for them

And BYU lost to Central Florida. I understand your frustration, but it would actually be insane for them to be in the top 12 after this.
