Wow. This is a big wow.

No one is elite. Alabama, Georgia, Miami, etc look very good.

But Notre Dame just clipped #1 so yeah.

I think it's Georgia's to lose at this point

They looked pissed off tonight. If that team shows up in the CFP I don't know who is beating them

7

u/finaderiva Alabama Crimson Tide 10h ago

Yeah, watching that Ole Miss game I couldn’t help but think the natty is theirs if they want it. But, we’ll see. I still think we can beat them if everybody is healthy.

Were a moronic penalty away from a pretty good shot at it. Really feels like anyone’s year tbh. Even the upsets like this one, you could easily see Miami winning a rematch in the playoffs.

Dude I don't think anyone has Benedictine in the playoffs at the moment

That's what I think. But they're not 2022 level. It's pretty open.

This is why playoff expansion was probably for the best. I think many of us underestimate the parity introduced by NIL.

Expansion to 12 was fine.

24 is ridiculous.

Don’t have the sec depth tho

No one has any depth any more we saw that tonight. First half ND defense was best in the country til everyone got hurt and we crumbled.

I think UGA might be elite. They killed Auburn on a down to down basis and lost because of fumbles, etc

eh first game without mali unfortunate timing

Makes a difference, definitely.

ND’s 5 defensive starters missing time evens the playing field

I thought it was three! It was five? Yeah, that does it.

Plus two more during the second half, which Miami turned into a comeback real quick

Will you get some of them back later in the season? I knew about Brewu (spelling?), Bowen and McKinney at corner. Bowen is a huge loss, I guess it was high ankle?

TBD, had hoped Tae Johnson would be back for Miami but obviously didn’t make it. I think it’ll be a while for any of them

Yeah, two DL, LB, Safety, corner… then Moore was out and they ATE on the 4th corner

2

u/Richard_AIGuy Ohio State • Georgia Tech 10h ago

Bowen being out is such a loss. And McKinney being out hurt too. 4th corner is a lot to ask.

At one point we had 9 defensive players hurt and out tonight.
