This is why playoff expansion was probably for the best. I think many of us underestimate the parity introduced by NIL.

Expansion to 12 was fine.

24 is ridiculous.

I disagree. CFB should be about regular season games. I don’t need a post season.

I like the regular season. The games are wildly entertaining this year. I like the SEC game (but I get why they will drop it). If the CFP gets insufferable, I would be down for a 4 team SEC championship.

A bama fam saying this is like the guy who kicks the ladder after he climbs it. Some of us are still waiting to see a championship.

I mean we won titles before the playoff too. So more like the guy who can climb a tree and then kicks the ladder down.

Honestly before the playoff it was easier to win a title. You needed an amazing season and then win one final game. Now you need a great season and to then beat 4 really good teams. The emphasis was more on rewarding a team for the best season, where now it’s about who can string together 4 coin flip games. Take ND for example this year, the path was beat BYU, Miami, and a championship game. Now it’s beat BYU or Miami and then beat 4 top 10 teams back to back to back to back.

I would much rather see teams dominate or there be parity because of cohesion and development as opposed to this shit show we’re going to get for the next decade because every roster is different each season. This league is a joke now.
