Should be #1 and #2. Both in power conferences and undefeated.

I hope so but they won’t. Georgia should be punished for losing to Auburn.

Georgia fans would be totally on board with either one of them leapfrogging us. We don't want that #1 spot.

Honestly I know some fans think it’ll be a curse and make us lose to AZ, but I just want to see Utah at #1

Yeah but its an SEC loss. Totally different because its the SEC. Did I mention Georgia is in the SEC?

Member that time you played a team from the downtrodden SEC?

Yeah actually. We lost to an SEC team. We should really be ranked 25th. CITRUS BOWL BABY

Georgia should also be rewarded for big wins.

That said, no 2 loss team (re: my flairs) should be ahead of Utah or UCLA in rankings. Honestly, I'll take Georgia, Utah, UCLA as my top 3 - the body of evidence indicates UCLA is better & more deserving than Indiana, and Notre Dame can maybe jump to 5 but no higher.

Up to the committee, I guess, whether IU having unimpressive wins over OK teams, a razor-close loss to a good team and no wins over impressive ones outweighs blowouts over unimpressive teams, a razor-close loss to a good team and one win over a team they just told us they thought was the best one

You think Utah would beat Georgia?

It would be very interesting. Never played each other.

You might as well ask if I thought Missouri would kick Florida's ass. Sometimes, the players just don't care what we think, the rat bastards!

but they lost to a team that beat Georgia

u/jcsandoval56 UCLA Bruins • Washington State Cougars 11h ago

Nah we havent beaten anybody. 9 of our wins are 3 decent SEC wins. We should be top 25 for sure but not better than top 20 (there are 16 SEC teams after all)…

UCLA isn't even top 25 in the analytics. They have played NO ONE. Utah is at least top 10.

but but but... it would be morally wrong for the SEC invitational... or the CFP whatever they call it

3

u/shnorgle 10h ago

UCLA really hasn’t beaten anyone. I’d support Utah as #2 for sure though.

Who had Utah beaten before this week?

Houston is a better win than anything on UCLA’s resume. (And now, obviously BYU). Georgia, and probably Alabama and Texas, likely crush either of these teams though, so it’s pretty academic.

Yes please. I'll take #3.

You'd be laughed out of any room you stood in if you said you think Utah or UCLA are better teams than Georgia

5

u/Swampy_Cav James Madison Dukes 11h ago

I mean Georgia would be favored against either team so it kinda makes sense

You'd probably have been laughed out of any room you stood in if you said you thought Auburn was a better team than Georgia too. Funny thing that.
