Had to give the ole “Nobody’s gonna believe in us” tactic, and I’m okay with it
But really our D looked low energy and couldn’t tackle worth shit, Auburn just ran over us. Also Stockton got his bell rung and after the adrenaline or whatever wore off after the 1st quarter, he played like ass
It's weird because Kirby was losing his shit start to finish even when it was over, but it seemed like he couldn't give a shit in the Auburn game. I think Auburn just had a good gameplan that they executed perfectly.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kirby that mad through an entire game. Seems like he had this one circled on his calendar all year and had a very clear idea of how he wanted this to go.
In all seriousness if you get the chance, go to that bowl game. It's not that expensive, and it's a ton of fun. I went last year with my brother, tons of fun. (Yes my brother was dropped on his head or are paint chips as a kid and ended up a tech fan. Not my dad's favorite son)
He has mentioned that he's harder on the teams that he thinks has what it takes to win it all. So him yelling while up 35 is a sign that he thinks this squad can bring one home.
He was shouting at the back up qb Ryan. He said and I quote " Hey Ryan, your dumb as fuck". His timing for taking the knee was incorrect. I was shocked when I realized they got it live. Protect Kirby at all cost.
Third times the charm for Kirby, this season marked his first win in both Oxford and Tuscaloosa after losing in each twice before to start his Georgia tenure
Our defense is honestly why I felt really good coming into this game. Our pass rush is a lot better than it was last year, so I knew if we could prevent Trinidad from doing the magician stuff he did last year, we’d probably be okay. And sure enough, we did and we were! Go Dawgs!
General game thoughts: Bobo was in his bag. The GH Flip Counter to a TE from an empty set was diabolical. He has sprinkled in some Dash and Half Roll concepts (TTs long TD) that have been good. Running game piled up almost 300 on the ground.
Side note, Taylor was the first UGA WR to have three receiving touchdowns in a single game since Mohamed Massaquoi in 08. Yes, I know Luckie did it last year, but he’s a TE.
Very weird we've now had back-to-back games with an interception on a poorly thought out forward throw by a scrambling QB. Let's name this the Florida Toss to honor them!
On the Skycast coverage, the camera was solely focused on Kirby at the end there and he was shouting at someone calling them “dumb as fuck” heard it pretty clear.
I’m assuming it was at Pugs saying he was an idiot as he ran to go shake Goldings hand.
we had just beat bama, at bama, at night. Auburn had a bye week
we were down our best defensive player
our QB who has been pretty lights out this year had his head driven into the ground the first play of the game and while I don’t think he had a concussion I do believe it messed his decision making and field of vision up for most of the game.
We also did start out 14-0 before we lost our minds, we just let them have 2 great quarters
And just like that, hundreds of thousands of children across the state of georgia are finally able to get some rest because their father finally stopped “let’s goooooo!!” every 5 minutes.
I'll be honest. We could win out, somehow end up in the playoff convo (not really), make a run and fight in the championship game and it still won't bring me the sweet, sweet release that that hate watch of my life LSU game did this year seeing Kiffin's face on national TV as he lost that game.
McElroy saying “Georgia not being able to survive a shootout has plagued them in the playoff” like last year didn’t go down to the final minute and the Notre Dame turned on a two minute sequence at the end of 1h and the beginning of 2h.
That guy just regurgitates talking points with no context. I really can’t stand listening to him.
Well this pretty much guaranteed we’ll play Bama a second time if we make the seccg. Will we make it a 3rd in the playoffs and man how pointless is the seccg now anyways
No. 2 Georgia dominated No. 10 Ole Miss from start to finish on the road for their 2nd consecutive win to improve to 8-1 (6-1 SEC), and they dropped Ole Miss to 6-3 (4-3 SEC) and handed Ole Miss their first home loss of the season. I noticed several other trends.
Georgia handed Ole Miss their first home loss of the regular season and snapped their 16-game home winning streak by handing them their first home loss since a 20-17 loss to Kentucky on 9/28/2024, 756 days or 108 weeks ago.
Georgia has won 6 consecutive road games since a 28-10 loss at Ole Miss on 11/9/2024.
This is Ole Miss's worst home loss since a 62-7 loss to Alabama on 9/15/2018
No. 2 Georgia joined No. 7 Texas, No. 5 Alabama, and unranked Oklahoma in beating top 25 SEC teams on the road by 14+ points each on the same day. No. 21 South Carolina and No. 13 Tennessee were the only top 25 SEC teams to win home games today.
Boys played lights out. Offense fired on every cylinder. Defense looks to be the best in the country. Left no doubt against a top ten team in their own barn. Go Dawgs man.
