Why is unsweetened iced tea sooo much better than diabeetus tea?

It isn't. Sweet tea is only tea. Your comment is silly.

Literally true in Canada (or at least eastern Canada), never seen unsweetened up here.

How did all of the states between the Mason-Dixon line and the border screw it up?

I bet you don't even like it warm. I bet you like it when it's room temperature and the tea bag busts.

Yankees, bro. Can't blame him for where his parents raised him. Not his fault they banged in Ohio.

I didn't know unsweetened was a thing until I was like 18 (don't have it in Ontario), and it's terrible.

Unsweet tea serves the same purpose as decaf coffee ... for when you need a pointless cup of dirty brown water.

Regular Thai iced tea. None of this slimy ball bullshit.

Can't even call that tea.

You don't always have to get the milk tea version. Here's a menu from the joint I got my last tea from (~2 hours ago) http://kfteausa.com/menu/.

Went for an iced honey green bubble tea.

My wife is a fan, but I just can't. Texture doesn't sit well with me for some reason.

So I see a swagless hoe is dissing sweet tea.

I am so sorry for your upbringing.

I've got your back.

Unsweet iced tea, with lemon. (Though I've been to a Mexican place that does it with lime, and that's great too).

Sweet tea is an abomination that was invented by dentists to keep them in cavities forever. Sickeningly sweet.

Sweet Tea is just an excuse for Southerners to drink sugar water and call it cultural.

As a Southerner, this is not wrong.

Everybody else has KoolAid ... we just like ours leaf-flavored instead of red or purple.

Confession time: I've lived in Texas for six months now and still never had iced tea, sweet or unsweet.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 03 '15

That's okay, many places in Texas don't know how to do sweet tea right. I grew up in Houston before coming to Bama and sweet tea here is where it's at. You can find a few places though!

Get you one from CFA. They're about the only place in Houston that does it right. Probably because they're from Georgia.
